I think we'll either see a push down to 1825, then back up, or further south to 1800, and then sharply back up.

It could retrace till 1842 or 1845.5 with the US opening, or even before. Then back to south. Oversold plus quite strong support now... it needs a breath.
If doesn't retrace, hold and wait for momentum.

That's strange. Market did not really react to retail sales data of US.

I was also surprised. but as ForexGoose usually say, wait for the next 15 to 45 minutes, then we'll see what happens.

I had a buy pending order placed at 1831.2 based off 4h liq pocket.
Buy triggered, tp was set high incase volume was there, market was slower then expected today so I closed around 1836.

Will wait for tomorrow and see how Asia acts. If we go to test the low of the day again I will look for buys and have first target as 1845 and expect a reaction, price have a pullback to 1840 area then head further up.
If we tap the low of the day and have a small break (still within 4h liq pocket) then buys hit 1845 area, retest broken base and continue higher.

Sold at 1842. Expecting a move back to 183X soon , and move SL to BE.

check gold situation ok breakout but any enough , on weekly strong support , ok 1826 , and may to bounce enough next ! there are huge potentiality for bear movement though for swing trader but must breaks and hold 1800 first !! watching

My Plan
Direction: down. Very obvious downward structure.
Point: 1842.4
SL: 1846.0
TP: 1813.0 or lower. Who knows, it's impossible to know the exact point level.
Let's just arrange it this way.

Gold is able to go to 1830-1820. There is points to get long positions.

I think that there could be another downtrend for Gold since after the U.S. data releases, Gold is just ranging

I placed a sell stop order at 1825, stop above 1840, target profit is open
