I have been grid trading manually for over a decade on Forex. I used to use Blessing EA but switched to manual grid trading once I got a feel for the market.

It would be amazing if you could could program a manual grid trader for Binance that allows you to do the following:

1 Set the grid entry points yourself
2 View the lot sizes based on the GBP gain / loss between each grid position.
3 Adjust the lot sizes based on the GBP gain / loss between each grid position.
4 Incorporate a manual trade on an alternate coin pair into the basket.
5 Set trailing stops on specific grid trades once desired profit is reached

As present, I employ a virtual assistant to do all of this manually in forex.

@leerees
All that seems possible to automate using a program including all the options.
I would suggest an online server to keep it running and not miss signals because of bad internet or outages, but that is easy enough to do also.

Are you making a good profit using that strategy ?

Very interesting. This is the first time I find a place and a person that actually understands and discussed Grid trading. From one point of view it is very simple to execute. From another it has a lot of specifics that has to be put under consideration.

We also do automated Grid trading. The software we have is written completely in-house which gives us the edge to modify it based on new info. We started working on it around the same time this thread started (2018/2019) and for the last year and a half we completely rewrote everything. As written above in the thread, we've encountered similar issues on the road (backtesting, volatility, different scenarios and so on). So far, everything that we have was available only for inhouse usage. At the moment, we are working on it to be available for external usage.
I am more than happy to share access to people who would like to test/work on it/help upgrade it . I don't plan to make it available for general public, more like available to a certain number of proffesionals who contribute to it. Something like the idea of CryptoCraft.

To those who undestand it (as we do), the Grid is good for two conditions in the market. 1. When it goes in the desired of you direction. 2. When it is horizontal....So, we had to figure out what else to do in order to make it work. Although the approach is similar to the one described above, we have implemented different functions. The goals was to make it as more market agnostic (not to care about the absolute price) as possible, to adapt on the conditions and to lower the risk as much as possible. As said above, the strategy/software can be deployed on (in theory) any pair. So far, we've been focused only on BTC/USD.

We are working on Deribit (years ago, they were among the best regarding API and infrastructure), although soon we plan to start working on Bybit/Binance/OKX.

We use leverage (sometimes a lot) and so far the returns are about 15-30% (there is a place for improvement) depending on the market conditions.

If anyone interested, I am OK to share future details.

hey
Can you share some information on how you built this BOT, the Languages used, what sources you used, how you used API to run your code, and some other stuff?

THANKS

I want to build my own bot and I am currently testing strategies and exploring it.
It will help a lot.
