Unbelievable! Just load the gaps EA with default settings. Anyway just 2 inputs(LOL).

On GBPUSD and run with $100 using 5 min TF on backtest from 1st Jan 2022 to 10 Nov 2022, you will get these.

Look at the drawdown between trade 133-136. Would it have been an account killer, ie margin call??
What was the profit at that point?
Would prefer to see a test over the last 3 months using current spread.

Sometimes too good to be true in backtest, don't happen in live.

So to have this DD makes the EA even better, more down to earth type.

Hi Coders, I found this EA on the internet and am trying to modify it to trade two pairs at a time which am not good at. Could some one clear for me the two remaining errors please?

The main concern is the 75 percent drawdown.
The EA probable need some protection to limit drawdown. Stop, max percent drawdown. etc

Take this EA and make it your ATM!

Just use 10 x $100 accounts let the EA run freely. Yup, just the original versions will do. MQ4 file provided, nothing for sale

A few of these accounts will make few hundreds dollars while a few of them will get busted.

Overall will still be profitable or even double or triple the original $1000 if you go by the backtests results.

I am asking any coders to make this EA able to trade multiple symbols and multiple timeframes on 1 chart so as to see whether by doing so will make this already great EA even better

Please refer to post 56233.

We diversify by breaking up the accounts into multiple parts.

And no, the original idea is good enough, don't add protection.

Just my personal interest/curiosity to see whether the EA will be better if can trade multiple symbols and multiple timeframes on 1 chart

The original will trade on any pair. Just apply it to the pairs of your choice on separate charts.

I have been using it in the two pairs on separate charts and thought combining them will be better for testing and coming up with the best set.

The EA doesn't place any Stop Loss.
The EA only places a very tight TP. So, the EA trades small gaps.
For Sell, the current Open price must be above the last High price plus the gap, and The TP is at that High price plus spread.
For Buy, the current Open price must be below the last Low price minus the gap, and The TP is at that Low price minus spread.
What this means is that no matter how many times the EA will win, it will lose everything on a single time when price goes against and doesn't come back.

Sorry dude, you made a total mess out of this.
You need to get the original file and start over, again.
The two errors remaining is one error - you got your " { } " brackets messed up.
If you fix those brackets (the error in the OnInit()) you will get a ton of other errors, missing variables, functions, etc.
You made a mess, you need to clean up.

It is my mistake for not making it clear in the 1st post.

Looking at my screenshot, I have placed the GAPS EA on multiple symbols and 1 timeframe only.

I am looking for the "upgraded" version that can trade multiple symbols and multiple timeframes when the EA is just attached to 1 chart.

Of course it won't happen live, because the tester executes orders at the exact price. In real live trading you will find this almost impossible. I could show you an EA that I have created which has 100% wins on any Tf and in any historical period on the tester. Always, consistently very small SL and much larger TP. In reality it is totally undoable.
