Sometime, seeing High/Low only can give you better direction of market, and ZigZag is one example of indicator that uses high/low value.

Just some information here, it is important where the candle is in the whole formation.
Let's take the chart you have posted and take out the last 2 candles on the chart(at the time that tail was formed),
this is an inverted hammer candle on the bottom of the move(bullish formation) not a sell candle on the top of a move.
These are institutions buying on the bottom, the are showing their footprint.(even if it went lower in these market conditions,
one reason that big bearish candle was formed, last candle, is because it took out the stops of this candle, it helped)
This in normally a bullish signal with a tight SL right below the tail candle, a very good R:R trade.
It matters were the tail is formed in the move.(from a tails trader)

this answer I would have given to Josi, to how can the loss of information be good in trading, but you were much faster than me.

In PVSRA, VSA they have consider only O, H, L as significant information; in PA, STRAT as the video show using only the high, low you can clearly recognize HH, LL, consolidation, expansion cande, engulfing candle

Spread information is volatile and not stored in candle data.
Only way is to collect those information as it happens and store to buffer. for later use.
But, again, if you close chart, those information would be gone as it can't be calculated.

I have a simple SpreadADR5 indicator. it is not you are looking for but it shows Spread and ADR which might give you some info.

I need help, and want the code for the Previous Year Close.

Since MT4 doesn't have TimeFrame for Year, you need to do some steps.

Find Index of December candle in Monthly chart and get Close Price.
Then, you will get last year's Close price. ( Basically, December's close price )

Below code is not complete.. just simple suggestion.
You would check year also by check Year() to make sure it is last year's candle, not this year.
Like thisyear = Year(TimeCurrent());
LastYear = thisyear -1;

double LastYearClosedPrice = 0;

for ( int i = 0; i < 20; i++)

Definitely ask any PRO to trade right, cause in the long term you will not make money, if by chance you made money in a wrong move
Candlesticks are traded a certain way and pan out cause they explain a certain story, if you gamble you can gamble in the casino too

Hi guys.. suppose I have SELLS active and at the same time BUYS active
and I want to see SELL'S profit or loss separately
and BUY'S profit or loss separately

is there any MT4 indicator which can do this job easily
so that i can just know in just 1 sec just looking at the indicator showing me numbers???

The indicator is as attached for your correction.
I do not know where to attach the codes you gave.

Also I discovered that the Previous Year High is not correct. Instead of 1959.35 it gave 1965.51 on Gold;
The Previous Year Low seems to be okay.

I am not interested in Previous Year Open.

Hello Coders,

I have an indicator that provides values of 8 currencies in the data window.

I only have the ex4 file and do not have the mql4 file.

Is it possible to make another indicator that fetches values from this indicator for the Pair as "Base Currency" & "Quote Currency" values and show them in the data window?

If any of the coders would help in this, it would be a huge favour for me, please.

Can someone help me code a script that opens all EA's I have in my expert folder? The filenames contain the asset/pair and TF.
Or help me find a script that does something similar?

Posting trades that made money the wrong way does not make them correct. Just so you will know no setup is 100% in this field.
After 25 years of trading I have read many books and would suggest you read some of Steve Nisons books on candlesticks,
but now I am not sure if you will understand them, maybe English is not you mother language, since you said you read some.
As time goes by you will know why these patterns work. I attached for you a pic of the patterns this way you can go over them.
