FAULTY RENKO CHARTS

Ive been tinkering with a couple of Renko Charts Ive googled and noticed that theyre not really Renkos. They seem to base their candle sticks on regular bars and not tick data. So I did some more research and found that Tradingview is doing the same thing with their Renkos.

So my question is? Wich of the Renko Charts for Metatrader can be trusted? Any tips?

Renko charts repaints and i see that as faulty but I could remember in meta trader forun, a coder created a non repaint renko charts but I have not come across such. Maybe someone has it and can share.

As you did not describe well explained way what actually you looking for,may be with demonstrating picture/s,so just guessing around and posting a ver,that is "ea" so a user may apply it on M1 of desired instrument with required parameters (which box size) and other related required parameters
After applying the ea go file tab,open offline chart and in the list found out your particular chart
in example pictures it show like this with atr (true) and without atr (false) and using renko box size 2 - TF is 2 that is just for reference to find out easily within your offline chart list
There are a lot of renko creating in a variety of different formations and ways (mean,median,range and so on a list),indicators,EAs everywhere,even live,without net

PS : as far its repainting behavior,it do not repaint till the terminal is on (live) and ticks are coming from brokers server regularly,once terminal stopped for any reason and reopened/reactivated the whole activity,you will find different display,a kind of so called repainting - according to my poor knowing

In the renko created chart (offline) you can see ticks are coming regularly and when exceeded the box size (specified) it open new bar

Anyway, MT4 is not suitable for reliable and stable Renko charting.
Should you be willing stability in your chart trading, you better switch over to Ninjatrader

I have an indicator in .mq5 and I need it to work in .mq4.
I changed the name extension to .mq4, but when compiled, it generated 7 errors.
I don't have, coding/programming experience.
Could someone fix these errors generated when compiling to .ex4?
Follow the .mq5 and .mq4 source codes with compilation errors.
If you know of any indicator in .mq4 / .ex4 with these functions or with more functions than those in this indicator, please indicate which one.

It's not mine and I wont make further changes to it, you can use a regular mtf fractal to see history.

How - when a certain button is clicked, show another panel.
If you don't find that helpful, then keep in mind you've given no info about what you've currently got ie if you can already make one panel, then you can make another.

Noted. It was missing ChartEvent handling.
But, I will make change to TEXT and update once market opens and tested.
