Hey guys, ive got a quick MFF question, tried asking on the discord but cant work out if im getting a clear answer or not.
$100k evaluation, last day.
Today started at -$91k (-9%). I pretty much wrote the day off and prepared myself to purchase another evaluation.
So I decided to take a punt using the remaining 3% of my max drawdown.
Made 5k on that trade, balance now at -$96k....so im potentially now back in the game with only another $4k to make before the end of play today to get the account back in the green for a free retake.
My thinking for my next trade at NY session is to risk my max daily loss (6%) to make 4% so I like those odds.
The question is....during my winning trade there was a little "in trade drawdown" there were also small retracements during the trade....so do these decrease my total daily drawdown allowance?
MFF are saying they dont show this stat, and are telling me to just go by my max daily dd. But im unsure whether this is still 6% or did the "in trade drawdown" and retracements reduce this further?
Im not used to risking this much so never been something ive had to consider before.
Whats your thoughts guys?
