Another scalping long position closed. Same trade as last one at 1809. My downward (brown) MA is pointing toward 1783. Lets see what happen tomorrow

I predict a pump before a dump in Gold on FOMC day. I will be watching where the rallies go on the 4 hour chart before selling.

Ahead of Tokyo session Gold is up by +0.3%.
Bulls trying to take charge of the trend with Retail traders significantly Long on the yellow metal.
While 63.26% Of Open Short Positions are in Loss.
Today's complete focus goes to FED Interest Rate Decision as investors see 85 - 90% chance of 75 bps point hike.

Looks like your buy signal was a few hours before you entered. Was it intentional to enter that late?

Hi,
I entered at the right time and price to the very exact pip in trade 1 which i posted, just forgot that today is A Big News down the Lane( My Bad) then when got a good price to recover bought another one.

Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) Monetary Policy Meeting: Welcome to FED day! The meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the rate-setting body of the US Central Bank. The only question now is whether we will get a 50 bps rate hike or a 75 bps rate hike by the FED. The Federal Reserve Fund futures currently show a ~97% probability of the FED choosing the latter, so that is the key risk in terms of market pricing going into the main event later today. At this point, you have to ask what exactly defines the FED's credibility when it comes to making a decision today? The market has made up its mind that the FED is well behind the curve and needs to do more to catch up. It is essentially bullying FED Chair J. Powell & Co. into a 75 bps rate hike, but is that really the most credible move? We’re afraid, on the balance of things, it actually is. The thing with that is that it sets up more aggressive tightening expectations in the subsequent meetings and that will be tough for the FED to square without more kicking and screaming like what we have seen in the past few days. Given pricing odds, equities and bonds will catch a reprieve if the Fed sticks with 50 bps. However, after some time settle down, we fear we could return back to this same debate, especially if inflation pressures continue to mount in the US. The market believes the FED is behind the curve and needs to act, and we reckon policymakers will have to try and heed that call eventually or otherwise risk another "policy mistake" - at least in the eyes of market participants. Either way, things are going to get really spicy today in the aftermath of the FED decision!

I think market is waiting for press conference and i believe that there could be spike up to 1805. I have Buy Limit order at 1813 but price just went to close to that price but my pending order is not executed. On my chart PP is at 1814.77. I totally missed that. I moved my buy limit to 1815.

Market is expecting the FED to be more hawkish. Maybe Gold could reverse down again after the FOMC press conference. I thought that the market was happy with what was priced in, but that may not be the case.
