Moreover to screenshot - even u consider your marked orders at futures DOM as "large" - there are just similar "large" orders lower, than current price and also closer to current price. And then give a glance to your spot DOM.

Im learning also but i think for now its best to stop posting, dont want to confuse you.
I feel im on to something, hence a lot of winners, but this makes me doubt.

Perhaps im bad with words and explaining things. I will step aside and re-watch vids and re-read more.

Also noticed (some time before) a participant trying to realize a +500K limit sell and took some attempts to go with him.
This is only one with a small size. After several times the volume disappeared.

One more, long when i noticed a big volume (> 500K) in the glass below, put an initial order above it but wasnt filled yet.

Then noticed big volume being eaten in the clusters and went long.

What's up traders. I'm new at scalping. So i'm trying to choose whitch terminal is more flexible and suitable for the day trading. Is CScalp OK with all of it?

I am from Argentina, I used to trade forex and I found this thread last year. I’ve read it then, and now I read it again and I starting experimenting with the glass. My results are promising.

I want to ask, why nobody replied here again since 2022? HiLine was so active but suddenly stopped posting anything ;(.

Hi Fedeuba , welcome!

Very glad about your results, keep them up!

Apparently, the reason for this is that forum members have no interest and, consequently, no questions regarding scalping in the exchange orderbook.

I'm still full time trader, still profitable, trading is my only source of income and I am still satisfied with and love what I do.

Hello, from where i can get dom or orderbook data for forex market??
As a retail trader you can't.You can try to spent time and become an institutional one, but instead you can try stocks or crypto.

Look futures datas. You need to buy a feed that cost around 35€/months if you want to have most of the important markets.

it's not that "other market will follow" ,moves happen at same time (and arbitrage games are not a thing doable for retails anymore)
but it's the only place where you can have true volume AND liquidity.
You don't have volume and liquidity informations trading cfd or forex datas, and trading without these informations is suicide, to not say gambling.

I've read people doing tests between Rithmics, CQG, etc. and saying Rithmic was quicker so i advise you to take it. I'm using it and i've never had problems with it.

Ultimately volume signals just like candlestick patterns are all historical data and don’t predict future movements, but can offer a small edge if your’e scalping delta imbalances or perhaps low / high volume nodes.

Its an trading edge but expect a two year journey to find it.

The bigger question is - is the time and effort required to achieve success in trading volume on future or stock markets really worth it?

I went on this journey myself and found success and a nice edge trading with volume data. But the secret to profitability in trading for me wasn’t really this journey but rather the simple idea that you need to train your mind to feel uncomfortable when in a winning position and just let it run.

Most volume traders fail at this skill and train themselves to seek 3-5 tick winners only - which explains why Future’s brokers have an old joke.
