Yea, I was reading their payout process. It seems you have to request a couple of days before your payout date and then not trade until it's processed? Anyways, all good assuming I don't blow up my accounts which only has a 97.88% of happening

Yep, that was the procedure
1. Send them an email some days before, asking for the payout (and how to receive it). I suggest that you do this 3 or 4 business days before because it's first time. If you want to receive through Deel they may have to create the contract (or you create an account)
2. You can trade until 23:59 of the 14th day
3. You need to have 5 trading days in the cycle
4. They will process it and send new credentials for a fresh account. This takes 1 or 2 business days and you can't trade during this period.

Btw, they have contradictory info in their FAQs because they mention that we need to send an emal but then, in another section, they say:
This is not true.

1. I'm hoping this is a live account, if not, obviously cannot understand why you are at 84K profit on a 100K or 200K phase 1 or 2 of a challenge or evaluation?

This is from a closed evaluation account. I exceeded the daily loss limit, then the system disables any trading. I made a bad tasting soup out of a good position.

Guys I was thinking of giving The Funded Trader rapid account a go because they are offering 15% discount if one pays by Bitcoin. I don't have any idea of how that works! Can one purchase the exact amount of Bitcoin that one needs and immediately use it to pay the challenge fee before the value of that Bitcoin drops? Or can one purchase the amount of Bitcoin one needs at a guaranteed exchange rate? Oh boy it sounds complicated!

Plus they are offering 150% refund which is quite tempting

I have not done it but there are parties that sells bitcoin and they get a fee for that. There are also large exchange parties, but creating an account will cost some time. It will take some time to buy bitcoin and then buy your product with that. But there must a very sharp drop to have a large effect on your money. But all this could cost you a few percent, maybe up to 5% of your money.

I ONLY use crypto when trading with my offshore brokers. There is no other choice for funding when you reside in the good 'ole land of the free USA. I just visited the funded trader and it actually states crypto and not bitcoin specifically. If they will accept your deposit in USDC or Tether, these are both pegged 1:1 with USD. You will not gain or lose any $$$$ in the transaction due to price fluctuations. Pretty simple process.......open up an account with an exchange (I use coinbasepro), purchase crypto of choice, deposit to broker/firm (in your case, TheFundedTrader).

The information they have in the site is misleading.
They say they have withdraws in cryptos but that's not true. In fact it's through Deel (and them from Deel you can withdraw to Coinbase paying 25 USD or so).
It's not like MFF, TPT, TFT and even TCF where you can really withdraw your profits directly to your crypto address (I already did it myself in all of the four).

DURATION

MAXIMUM ACCOUNT DRAWDOWN
At any time, the account balance must be maintained within a moderate risk range and must not drop below 5% during each performance cycle for the entire evaluation period. The high watermark for the account drawdown is the start balance and the realized/unrealized balance or equity (whatever is higher) each Friday at 12 pm, PT thereafter.

EXAMPLE:
Start balance: The account balance or the realized/unrealized equity must not drop below the
USD 475 000 level based on the start balance (USD 500 000).
Account increase: In the event, the account grows (to USD 520 000 as an example) and the account balance or realized/unrealized equity sits at USD 520 000 on a Friday, 12 pm, PT, the assessment basis is
USD 520 000 (high watermark) and holds for the following week (drawdown level USD 494 000).
In the event, the account grows, the high watermark adjusts accordingly each Friday, 12 pm, PT.
In the event, the account value drops below USD 520 000, the historically highest value
(high watermark USD 520 000) represents the assessment basis for the maximum drawdown.

MAXIMUM DAILY DRAWDOWN
There are no restrictions on the daily exposure but a trader is required to maintain a moderate risk level
in order to avoid the maximum account drawdown during the trading week.

At the evaluation level and the funded level, a trader trades on the MT4/MT5 platform with access data

RELEVANT TIME ZONE
The relevant time zone for all trading is GMT -4 (EDT/EST).

TERMINATION
Any account will be terminated in the event of

1. the maximum account drawdown
2. failure to commence trading
   

In the event of termination, the evaluation may be repeated. The assessment fee (setup fee) applies again.
At any time, XLTRADE is entitled to terminate any account. In such an event, all profits accumulated on a funded account (if any) will be paid to the trader.
NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS
A trader is allowed to combine up to five evaluation accounts at one registration. The accounts may be managed simultaneously by using a trade copier implemented by the trader. On request, XLTRADE merges all accounts into one single account at funded status.
EVALUATION ACCOUNT
During the evaluation period, a trader trades on an evaluation account in the amount of

PERFORMANCE MILESTONES

At each achieved performance milestone, the trader is eligible for profit participation in the amount of ninety percent (90%).

SCENARIOS - EVALUATION PERIOD
In the event, a trader does not achieve the profit target at any given cycle during the evaluation period, the trader has the chance to start the evaluation again (a trader receives a free repeat (no fees apply)).
In the event, a trader finalizes any given month during the evaluation process with negative results, the trader has the chance to restart the evaluation (the setup fee applies again).
In the event, a trader hits the maximum account drawdown, the trader has the chance to repeat the evaluation process (the setup fee applies again).

SCENARIOS - FUNDED ACCOUNT
In the event, a trader achieves positive results at any given week, the trader
is eligible for profit payout in the amount of ninety percent (90%) of the achieved profits after
each week.
In the event a trader achieves negative results at any given week, the trader
is not obliged to cover the losses. Any funded account will be terminated after three consecutive months of losses.
In the event a trader hits the maximum account drawdown, any account will be terminated with immediate effect.

REFUND OF SETUP FEE
In the event of a 10% profit generated in the first month of trading on the funded account, a trader will receive a full refund of the setup fee.

ACCOUNT INCREASE
If a trader demonstrates profitable trading on a consistent basis on the funded account, the account increases by 25% every three months.

AGREEMENT
When a trader starts the evaluation or has received a funded account, the trader agrees and is bound
to the conditions above.

Start at $100K funded then move to $200K then $500K then into $1,000,000 all having performance targets that must be met.

A quick search turned up the following:

Surge Trader $1M for $6500.

T4T Capital $1M for $5000.

NP Financials $1M for $6300.

Fidelcrest $1M for $2810 (€2699)

XLTrade $1M for $1750 (phased approach start at $100K progress to 1M)
- can do 5 x $500,000 challenges at the same time for a $2,500,000 funded account.

Note that it would pay to visit each website and make comparisons here because there is plenty to think about, for example, some only offer leverage of 10:1, but might provide several months or unlimited time to meet PT, others also have tight DD of say 4% and also trailing DD of say 5% and other firms have a weekly loss limit of just 2% so it pays to thoroughly analyze all conditions not just the fee to play.

I see they offer 1:500 leverage but downside, only mt5 platform which is a nuisance if you are using mt4 indi's and EA. I know one can use a trade copier but that tends to be cumbersome.

It is a weird website because you cannot see the prices, unless one registers I suppose.

Yes they try to capture early data from potential customers.

I also registered so I could get current info and prices because a search online provided much lower pricing from recent review sites.

In any case, I would run several demo test runs trading a $1M account.

I'm starting to think that a 'better' approach might be to take on minimal challenges since they are not easy to pass meaning just $1M or not more than 2 x $500K's.

Anyway that's where I'm at presently, going to play the big ones.

Question is which one offers the best conditions.

In the meantime I'll start testing on a $1M demo.

Last point here is that it's possible to go straight to a $1,000,000 funded account with XLTrade but you need to outlay an 8% deposit which is $80,000 !!

I sure would feel more comfortable if it were FTMO or MFF offering a 500K or 1 million. IMO, too large of an investment to a company(ies) who nobody has used or been paid from. What first jumps out at XL Trade, is having to do 10% TWICE vs. a 10/5 or 8/5 model and then to have to do it with 5% DD. They are not asking you to earn 67% or even flip the account, THEY ARE ASKING FOR 200% 2 MONTHS IN A ROW!!!!!!
There are two extreme approaches to the props....
1. Start small and reinvest profits (lowest risk and lengthy time to get to 7 figures). As stated, with the difficulty of passing, this can be very time consuming
2. Purchase a large evaluation and pass once (higher risk, much quicker to the 7 figures)
Goes back to the question.......are your odds better putting it all on red? Or should you divide your roll into small bets and play roulette for 3 hours?
Of course, there are many approaches between the two extremes.
IMO, the key is getting funded with at least one account so you are earning while attempting the others. Of course, if you are trading a personal account while taking on the evals, that works as well. Point being, you do not want to miss months of trading profits while attempting challenges.

If you have 80K start your own prop trading firm, and get the money from the people by fees you will get more easier richer I think
