I was thinking about Live Trading with my FF subscribers, so i can start to break down my strategy and show to all of you how i trade, anyone know a method to do it that will not violate the FF Rules?

I trust you are well.

Please be advised that I picked up this correspondence a little later than the actual dates the posts were real time which is regrettable since I would have preferred to have responded real time.

All the same, I wish to confirm in advance that I am not at all making this post in order to pick any form of argument with anyone since I stay far, far away from confrontational negative energy exchanges which are driven by emotive harsh comments.

The basis for me wishing to chime in on this particular thread is first & foremost I understand in no uncertain terms that your advice to the gentleman KnifeS2 is being offered with the very best intentions.

Being someone who has been in the trading arena for some length of time permits me the latitude to look beyond your strong rapport & identify the well intentioned basis from which you’re coming.

Having said that, it is goes without saying that you are a veteran trader seeing as you had a FF portfolio when I didn’t even know such a platform existed.
My view on the matter is that the veteran traders & leaders of the retail trading space such as you & others like you could really shine a light to brighten up the path for aspiring traders.

From my end I have put in more than my 10 000 hours, having hit my straps my only mission now is to suppress those nasty unforced errors which rob us of consistent profits & take us into the miserable drawdown cycles. All good there, but it surely doesn’t mean I can’t learn from you or anyone one else for that matter who has greater experience than me.

Coming to this gentleman KnifeS2, it would be completely remiss of us to not appreciate that at his age he has been trading since I began (2017). I am unsure how he did that but I have no reason to doubt the bona fides of his claim since his order execution clearly demonstrates that he has some structure & he has factored in considerable drawdown as part of his process.

The fact that he has just about 5 years of exposure to the market & didn’t join the 90/90/90 crowd by 2018 implies that he has grit & he may very well go on to become an exceptionally prominent figure head in the trading space.

It is all conjecture at this point but I, for one am more excited that this trader at the age of 19 commands a portfolio which I may reach in a few years perhaps since with his depth of market he has a lightning rod at hand.

If he can keep it together you, I & any other reasonable person can readily agree that the world is at the feet of this young man.

In conclusion if may respectfully reaffirm that I stand in awe of your willingness to set traders straight when you find/suspect they are possibly on tilt & it could very well save someone a lot of heartache if they take heed of your advice.

I did something similar to what you tried doing with this gentleman on another thread called Grow that account where another young guy wanted to 10x a USD 3000 account. If you have the luxury of time go over my post there for reference as to what I am suggesting.

All I am saying is, with utmost respect Franz, the years you have been in this space provides you a wealth of experience & knowledge. Use it in a harmonious & loving manner when you tow/ attempt towing them in line. They will accept your advice far more readily, after all we can surely attract bees far more easily with pollen than with vinegar.

I wish you accept my feedback in the good faith it was intended however I understand if your posture on the matter doesn’t align with mine.

I am indeed far older than you & only learnt about trading much later in my life, perhaps more out of desperation to come unstuck than anything else.

What I ended up discovering was very likely the greatest available resource which permits an everyman & nobody from nowhere like me to generate an independent & secure living without having to subject myself to the typical market/supply chain shocks which come with “normal” corporate work or even running one’s own small business.

I wish to record my heartfelt gratitude for your kind offer, it is an exceptionally warm gesture.

I am somewhat an extreme introvert & have only left my home city Durban, South Africa once in my entire existence which was in 2009 when the corporate I worked for then posted me at another location about 600 kms away. Apart from that I have never travelled anywhere.

Allow me to report KnifeS2, the warmth at which you extended your invite compels me to travel to Italy when my liquidity depth commands it simply in order to share that coffee with you. It will be my great privilege & honour to understand how someone as young as yourself achieved the amazing feats that you have.

As we may both agree such an intense expression of private information would be best ventilated in direct inter-personal dialogue as opposed to an open forum thread.

To aswer your previous question i discovered trading after they scammed me, in the 2017 i was young and a person that got my telephone number contacted me and told me that if i invested 500€ in a market called forex with them they will assure me a return of 5000€in 1 week, i was young, foolish and i gave them 500€ (As i hadn't a bank account they told me to steal my parents card and make this payement, and i done it); after they blocked me and i parents slaped my face very hard.

After this episode i got very curious about trading and the market called forex so i started to get more information about it, like every beginner trader i lost a lot of demo/real money, it was easier to me to lose real money because i also had other business that give me a stable entrance.

I was born in the 2002 and at that time i had only 15 y/o, today i have 19 y/o, time really fly fast.

Just wanted to say --> Great recovery! I have been lurking and checking your page on regular basis.. I find this extremely interesting and I am truly looking forward to the future of your project! Being an rather oldie myself (closing in on 50) I have learned for sure to never judge someone by their age. I have met people that have more talent then I will ever have at the age of 15 within certain areas I have been involved with alot. Instead take advantage of the situation and try to learn more from the behemots of knowledge

Yes - you're right - I've been writing here on FF for many years and and I have seen many young traders as Knife .
In aeronautics we say : There are old pilots and there are reckless pilots, but there are no old and reckless pilots.
This phrase also fits traders: if you want your career as a trader to be long, you can't be reckless.
Things may go well for a while - audaces fortuna iuvat - but then comes the black swan.Always.
Easy gain comes and goes , but the only thing that matters in trading is the consistency in the time.

he is 24 years old and with a $ 400,000 account, this guy has made more than $ 180,000 in gain , so far.

Knife , compared to him, you are an amateur.

First warning, do not post things that are not correlated with the meaning of the thread.

I want to remind everybody that i do not live with the money i make in trading, i have other business like restaurants, and my high deposit was done thanks to these business, trading is just a hobby, and a diversification.

Advice from a young, "reckless", "Amateur", "youngster that make less than 180,000$ in gain", "youngster that make less money than a certain Cody"and "youngster that have less than 400,000$ in the account" diversify your income and do not rely only on one income.
