I don't know why you would see the window arrangement change from time to time, but my guess is that MT4 sometimes does some auto-updates when it starts. Most likely that's when it changes the way your MT4 starts up, with respect to what info windows it opens (besides your profile which defines which charts it opens).

Check the Help->About... (MT4) menu now. Record the version. I have 1353, but a later version will soon be available for me. Next time your menus change, check the version again and see if it updated. You might not even be aware when MT4 updates, and it can be hard to prevent, even when it asks you and you say "No" to the update! (MT4 is so much like a virus at times, unfortunately).

Fyi, your statement threw me off a bit: "I have about 25 metatraders as you can see in the screenshot."

The main focus of your screenshots is the 6x11 arrangement of charts in a single Metatrader 4. When I double-click on the picture to see details, it opens a very large window (because you're using a 4K monitor and this is a FULL-size picture). Even though I also have 4K monitors (two 48 inch TV's, side-by-side actually), I'm at 125% scale so I have to use scrollbars to see every edge of your screenshot. I had not bothered to scroll to the very bottom to see that you have a very long list of icons that start MT4 sessions. So yes, now I can see that you actually have that many MT4's!

This is fortunate and good timing because I need some information also.

Q's for you:

1. How many individual MT4's do you run at once? Does it seem to thrash when you open "too many", whatever that is?
2. What is your CPU? RAM? SSD/disk?
   1. Me: I have a <1-year old decent laptop, LG Gram 15.6 inch, though I rarely look at the screen.
   2. I plug in a USB-C docking station to connect HDMI's for both my 48inch 4K Samsung TV's I use as monitors. (Fyi, TV's are much cheaper than monitors, and these are at least 6 years old. The Samsung has a "PC" mode that works great for me, with the only downside of using TV's is that moving the mouse doesn't wake them from the TV "sleep" mode. I must use the TV controller to power them up after the TV's "sleep" after an hour. I keep the TV controller handy, just for the power-button. Newer TV's might behave better?? IDK. Note: IMO, 50" TV is about the max if you wear glasses (due to the top edge of the frames); if no glasses, 55 may be ok. If too big/tall, you can strain your neck from up/down. Side-to-side doesn't bother me).
   3. It has the i7-1165g7 CPU, which is 4 cores / 8 threads. The drag of it is that if I run more than about 6 MT4's, it seems to thrash. This is consistent with MT4 in that it is "single-threaded", but to my rough/approximate understanding, it uses 1 thread for all the charts/indicators/graphics, and another thread is more dedicated to EA's and trade actions.
      
      MT5 is multi-threaded, so each session could be expected to be faster, but I don't know how many MT5's I'll be able to run at once. I'm in the USA, and the very few brokers based here don't even offer MT5 yet, which is fine for me since I've a LOT of code I'll have to migrate eventually.
   4. It has 16G RAM, and a 1T SSD (SSD is the only way to go! I'm done with spinning harddrives)
      
      Lately, I'm thinking of getting a more powerful desktop. For $2500 USD, Costco here has an MSI "Aegis RS 12TD-259US" with the i7-12700KF, 32G RAM, 2T SSD. The CPU is therefore the latest 12th Gen from Intel. It has 12 cores (8 x P-Cores + 4 x E-Cores), and 20 threads. I'm guessing it could handle many more MT4's running at once. (Above that would be the i9-12900K which is 16cores / 24threads, but I've not shopped much to find a model with that top CPU or similar).
   5. Maybe 2 SSD's would be slightly better, so one for the O/S, the other for either all or just some of the MT4's, but SSD's are so fast for access, I'm not sure how much benefit there would be to having two separate SSD's vs. just one. (Anyone?)

3. How is your internet connection? I have Xfinity/Comcast cable, but connect via Wi-Fi from a distance to my router, so at my PC I get about 200M/40M, instead of the 700M+/40M I'd get hardwired. I may upgrade my WiFi router to a better/stronger gamer model, probably tp-link AX11000. Haven't decided on the cable modem replacement yet or not, but will save the hardware rental fees if I do.
4. I can see you run Windows 11, but I only know that because I recently upgraded my wife's computer from Win 10 to 11, so I then learned what the arrangement of icons at the bottom looks like. I still use Win 10 until I'm certain that Win 11 runs MT4 just fine, and no other issues. Any problems? Any benefits that make it worth it? (Safest is often "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.", and Win 10 is working fine for me AFAIK)
5. In each of your MT4's, in the Market Watch window, are you careful to "Hide all" ? I am, and this makes a big difference in MT4 performance, since the incoming ticks are limited to only the symbols for the charts I have open. No point in receiving ticks for 50-300+ extra symbols that I'm not watching.
6. I make extensive use of programmable keyboard devices from Logitech. The gamer G13 and G600 (both now out of production) have a LOT of keys I program. This may be helpful to you as well, whether it's these devices or anything similar, or even hotkey software you can get.

Back to your question, which is how can you either prevent the unwanted info windows (Data, Market Watch, Terminal, Navigator, etc.) from opening, or how can you easily close them?

There might be some MT4 file that stores what to open. There is the "profiles" folder, but that does not include info on which of the info windows to open. The profile only contains the list of chart files, and -- I suppose/guess -- how they should be arranged, although I'm not sure about this.

So, there might be a "config" file, or some other file somewhere that the MT4 update replaces. If you can figure out which file this is, you *might* be able to restore your old file and get back to your desired arrangement. A simple .bat script could copy the old file and overwrite (or rename) the new one, but do some web search how to write it.

If not that, I would first suggest to memorize the bindkeys that open/close each of the info windows:

At the very least, you can learn to quickly type 4 keys to toggle 4 windows: Ctrl+M (market) Ctrl+D (data) Ctrl+N (navigator) Ctrl+T (terminal).

You can then consider whether to buy either programmable hardware, or get some hotkey software. Program a button or function that runs through any set of keystrokes. If the MT4's update consistently, and always show, for example, these 4 info windows, then you can press the programmed key to close all 4 at once. (If it's not consistent, that's unfortunate. These bindkeys toggle the windows, so if an info window is closed, the Ctrl+key will open it).

There is always the F11 key that hides all the info windows AND toolbars. That's unfortunate, perhaps, but another possible programmed set of keystrokes could be:
F11 Alt v b s ... (The F11 hides everything. Then the *sequential* keystrokes of Alt, then v (for View menu), then b (for toolBars), then s (for Standard), will turn ON the Standard toolbar. Then you add another series, like Alt v b c (the "c" is for the "Charts" toolbar).

How do you know which letters do what? As soon as you hit the Alt key, notice in the MT4 menus that each menu has an underlined letter. The v is for the View menu. You hit "v", then in the View menu, *most* of the choices have another underlined letter you can choose. When there is no underlined letter, sometimes you need to program using the down-arrow key, and/or Tab, and/or Shift and/or Shift+Tab (at once) and/or ... whatever combination of keystrokes does the trick. It can be hard to figure these out, but once you do, they can be programmed! I have a very large number of buttons programmed, so many that I forget which ones to use sometimes, but the ones I need the most, I do remember.

As usual, I type too much. Hope this helps. You, or anyone else who cares to comment, please let me know more about your CPU/hardware, and experience running many MT4's at once. I want to run around 12-15, and some of my indicators are CPU intensive.

i am not a programmer, but i have tried to correct this several times, EA end up not working, thats why it end up having (2) as its last name

HELP--- EA has just one stoploss parameters for all pend orders but i dont know where the fault is why the buy-stop and sell-stop will add more to the assigned stoploss

I came across the TradeATS method and found it quite good. However the monthly subscription they charge for their indicator is ludicrous, US$300 per month to rent the indicator LOL, please...

By watching all their videos and listening to his explanation of what their system considers a contraction point, I was able to reverse engineer it. It is quite simple actually. He considers a contraction point when we get a higher low and a lower high, it doesn´t matter what happens first. By using a zigzag indicator configured for the smallest swing possible, it is possible to replicate their algo.

The trigger to start drawing the box is when we get a lower high and a higher low (or vice versa) on the zigzag indicator BUT this is happening "under the hood". The box should only be printed when we get a candle close outside this range created by the HL/LH. At the same time that this box is printed on the chart, a white line will start printing from the center of the box, and will print until we get a new white line from a new box. Those lines are called "expansion lines".

If someone could code this indicator, that would be great. It is quite simple. It can reference metatrader´s native zigzag, the settings should be hard coded as:
Depth:2
Deviation:1
Backstep:1


An idea I had to add to add to this indicator is for it to display the expansion line from another timeframe you could choose in settings. Those would be the settings of the indicator:

Box Color (hard coded to be filled with color, not outline)
Expansion Line Color
Expansion Line Style
Display Other TF Expansion Line: Yes / No?
Choose TF:
Other TF Line Color
Other TF Line Style
Max History: (total number of bars used in calculation)

ONLY the expansion line of the other timeframe should be displayed, NOT the box

The zigzag does not need to appear on the chart, just hard code the color as "none".

In essence we wanna have a higher timeframe above or below the expansion line (this will be our directional bias). Then on a lower timeframe (for entry), we wanna enter short positions when price is above value (if higher TF is below value) and enter long positions when price is below value (when higher TF is above value).

I don't think there is mq5 for that, only the raw supertrend without mtf etc has mq5 on the mql5 website which you can search for it and then modify yourself.

this is not indicator, this is my request. this is what I asking for. to connect hi and low of the candles to show it as zigzag. I made it by hand just to show how I see it. but nobody wants to do it.
