I wonder why no one is talking about the Fundednext prop firm. It seems to be a decent one.

Okay guys I have purchased a 15k Evaluation account and created a thread only for FundedNext prop firm.
There are some benefits on this over other prop firms:
1. 15% payout of phase 1 and Phase 2 profit target along with fees refunded,
2. Low price like MFF,
3. Daily DD not based on floating equity like MFF which is a real problem. It's more like FTMO daily DD,
4. Live fund when funded,
5. 80 to 90% payout Bi-weekly for Evaluation account,
6. Dedicated account manager,
7. Very fast customer service. MFF sucks here,
8. More methods to get paid,
9. Big star universal Boss Chris Gayle is promoting this prop firm,
10. Big office and large team,
11. Spread is better than MFF.

Looks can be deceiving such as a big flash office and glamor marketing and promotions.

In any case, let us know how it turns out for you.

Try and avoid posting links to your own thread here as it's not necessary and based on a quick look at your thread it's clear to me that you are heavily promoting them yourself.

Who knows, maybe another 1 or 2 firms that stand out like FTMO and MyForexFunds will rise up and provide us traders with even better conditions.

Thanks for your advice, it looks like they got the good parts from both FTMO and MFF. I like them being transparent showing their office and everything, they also got featured on bloomberg, yahoo finance/news, streetinsider and on others, everything looks very promising. Let's see how does it turn out.

The good part they have a ref link, for what you spammed every prop related thread and created a new to eventually they all lead to that.
No problem, supposed to be commercial member, but nice to be upfront.

As the rest, about FundedNext, and where they have been featured, and what is the actual business profile of the "founder" ( yes, a quote as it is just a white label!, so their isn't much founding went into it), suggest google or linked in.
But to save some time, here is their top5 listed skills.

Nothing particularly against, but I personally hate to see ppl pushing "firms", often sneakily, whom they never personally got a payment to start with. Just dishonest.
And there had been recently like 3-4 such ppl with 3-4 different prop "firms", some doing that multiple times over a period....
That should stop, but perhaps just my view.
A promising firm that has paid you before you go on to mention it, and even better if there is some proof of that.
Sure, there is plenty excuse to come up why can't do that; but usually there is only 1! that true: can't bcos never got paid by the firm in question!!

Hi, RubelByrne.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but FundedNext has not been featured on those publications. If you go to those links, you'll discover that it's the same press release apparently sent out by their media team to drum up their recent launch.

They do seem legit (at least you see a real office with real people in the video, unlike majority of the firms that have mushroomed in this space) and combine the best features of the leading prop firms in their program-offerings. Still, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, as the saying goes.

One more thing: care to ask them why they chose to go with 8Cap instead of using a more reputable broker?

can anybody confirm whether both FTMO & MFF offer unlimited free retakes if you finish in some profit (but don't violate their other rules)?

Well, I have to say I'm quite surprised with this new entry, Funded Next.

I hope I'm not being naïve, but the production value of everything they have done so far is quite high, from videos to presentation, website, offices etc. This shows to me they have actually invested something beforehand, and it seems to me more than something.
8cap comes as a surprise and will continue to be a grey area, not something that cannot be easily overcome though, by introducing alternative broker solutions at some point or completely moving away.

I guess the only way to go past the marketing slogans and get an initial idea of the legitimacy of any company, and the spirit behind it is by scrutinizing their legal documents. Other than that I would also like to test their support at some point.
Both in my to do list.
By doing so I avoided Funding Talent at that time along many others to end up to mff with no other alternatives for now, for me. Certain events have kept me from joining mff for the time being and since I hate monopolies I welcome any promising new entry.

I really hope they're here to stay, and I would welcome a representative of them in this very thread and their own FF thread would be a good idea.
Let's see how they stand the test of time or better yet, since they actually started, what they actually stand for.. I wholeheartedly wish them well.

P.S. I am not very fond of aggressive marketing practices and news travel fast.. bad news even faster.

I'm new to all this prop firm business , but particularly attracted to the offerings of this new kid on the block Fundednext....

Their evalution processes both the "Evaluation" and the "Express" seem to have fair rules, which are very achievable IMHO. On the surface the Express looks quicker. but you have to make 25% over whatever period you like whereas the Evaluation asks for 10% over first 4 weeks then 5% over 8 weeks. Therefore you'd be better off going for the 15% over 12 weeks, but they told me if you complete it sooner then job done. You're get funded soon as you've made the 15%.

I would go for the Evaluation one and try to earn the 15% over the minimium 10 trading days so hopefully 2 weeks.

However I have grave concerns about all these Prop firms springing up here there and everywhere. Its all too easy nowadays for anyone to setup a website that looks very official and fool the best of us, just so they can scam an Evaluation Fee from us all? I was using their chat earlier and they said they had over 1,000 interested traders already so assuming they pay the average fee of $299 thats $299,000 since launch yesterday!! Nice money if you can get it .

So my question to all you guys is are these Prop firms genuine? My concern is they are just after your Evaluation fee and make sure you don't pass their evaluation so never have to fund any live accounts?

Are there traders out there using these prop firms?

I am particularly interested in this Fundednext as their terms seem very reasonable.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who can throw some substance behind it all?

Its best to wait for proof of concept with any of these new kids on the block. No one has shown successful funding with them yet. Over the past couple of years, several new firms imploded fairly quickly.

Hi buddy.

Some friendly tips. First of all, pay attention to the prop companys with a reputation and a long history. For example, ftmo and mff. I personally recommend mff.
8%+5% with 12% drawdown in eval mode. Perhaps the best spreads + commission. Bonuses after passing and the possibility of extending etc
They need to work with their support team, but anyway it is a great company.

Sounds like an advertisement and this is my first post here, but I was just in readonly mode lol

By the way, 15%(actually 150% if we have deposit = 10% max dd) in 10 days sounds pretty aggressive, you have nowhere to rush really - but that's just another friendly tip.

I'd suggest giving them some time to evolve.

The option is always there to test the waters by trying one of the lowest priced challenges.

MyForexFunds still has the better deal in my opinion.

Greater overall DD allowance MFF at 12% and FundedNext at 10%.
MFF Profit Target is 8% Phase 1.
FundedNext Profit Target is 10% in Phase 1.

Phase 2 PT is 5% for both firms.

Similar trading cycles for both firms with respect to Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Phase 1: 30 calendar days :: 4 week cycle
Phase 2: 60 calendar days :: 8 week cycle.

Fees are comparable between the 2 firms.

MFF Challenge Phase 2 allows for a free retry from Phase 1 if no trading objectives were breached and only profit target not met.

FundedNext does not allow free repeats if Phase 2 is missed, you get one attempt at it and one only,then you'd need to purchase a reset at a discounted rate.

MFF has been around longer than FundedNext and already survived the numerous teething problems ( with customer service still not good ) whilst FundedNext is yet to prove itself.

FundedNext offers the Express Model with the 'unlimited' time limit to meet trading PT so this type model might suit some traders.

As far as evaluation goes MFF and FTMO are still the top 2.

I welcome more entrants into the Prop Firm space so let's hope the new one can prove itself, only time will tell.

FundedNext is same targets as FTMO with a bit better pricing. The 15% payout for phase 1 and 2 is really irrelevant, although a clever marketing strategy. If you don't pass, you don't receive it AND if you do pass, you're about to earn 80% on your funded account. Nice perk though, I mean it is $1500 on phase 1 and $750 on phase 2 on a 100K account plus fee refunded. The express model with 25% in unlimited time I'm guessing pays you 15% all the while you are taking your time, so that's actually pretty cool.

However, with that being said, I have been searching for a 3rd for months and I do have to admit this one looks promising. The fact they have put much more effort into presentation speaks volumes, I remember the one video with the "owner" being interviewed in his bedroom with the crooked curtains swinging in the wind generated by his fan. Time will tell, but I wish them the best and look forward to exploring them as an option, will be watching closely.

Let's say you start your evaluation challenge with a 100k account and in evaluation phases 1 and 2, you made 10k and 15k or a total 25k profit. Now, in this case, you will get 15% of the 25k profit that you have made, which is $3750, as well as the full refund of your subscription fee!!

Since when did 10% for phase1 & 5% for phase2 add up to 25k. Or am I missing something.??
Phase1 pay-out is 15% of the 10% profit. Phase2 is 15% pay-out on the 5% profit.. Where do they get 25k from?

I don't believe their maths is wrong as they are basing your split on your achieved profit as opposed to the profit target. So, if you happen to achieve 10% on phase1 then you have passed, but if you then decide to keep trading further anyway and gain another 20% then your split would be based on 15% of your total 30% profit. I believe MFF originally worked like this until they started to cap profits based on profit targets. In their example the achieved profit is 25K so that is what your split is based on.
