Politicians are all evil, West or East, but the main thing is, if you ask 10 random people in Ukraine if they want to be allies with the West or East, 9 out of 10 will say West. And Putin simply doesn't respect that, his mindset is still in the Soviet Union.

one way or another, there will be no NATO nukes at the Russians border... i see, almost everyone here deeply regrets that?

despite of the many: BACK OFF! kinda of warnings. starting 1997 with NATO-RUSSIA contract for not growing NATO eastbound.

All Baltic states joined Nato including Lithuania.
This is where I am from.
Ukraine is fighting for all of Europe, as taking over Lithuanias Baltic sea side is part of Putins old plan.
My country fighted Russian tanks before, will fight again.

Lithuania borders both Kaliningrad, a Russian region where the country's Baltic Sea fleet is based, and Belarus, the former Soviet republic where tens of thousands of Russian troops have been deployed for joint exercises.
Kaliningrad borders with Nida, most beautiful seaside town.
