Hi Guys!


Happy New year and Merry Christmas to you and to your families!! Wish you health, peace and prosperity in a New 2022 year, let it be so kind that we can choose only between good ,better and the best.

As for the year which is still in tact, it has been really really great one for me, as per financial results, which are outstanding and of course I mean growing as a Trader. From 2013 when I made my first steps in the markets I always was mad about trading, this year my love to trading at least tenfolded))

My last month was not that active, didnt trade much due to coding obligations but want to pick it up again in January.

I want to use this oppertunity to thank you for all your help and advice on this thread. Its worth more than anything else.

Hello Machinator,

Before trading Forex, i've earned my life with betting exchange trading (live surebet) , and your strategy gives me memories of all this 10 years ago !



With the ladder of the software "A geek toy", that i found very clear, some friends were trying to explain to me how trade like you (not exactly the same but the idea is the same),
but i've always had trouble to apply principles of these video :

Have you got any tutorials of this strategy in Russian? I would like to start learning trading from DOM but I need more materials that I could translate into my own language.
I have one more question.

Could you explain to me how you interpret density in the order book ? I mean what big orders in ask/bid book means for you.

As I wrote above, the real exchange trading is all about practice. Besides the video I shared somewhere here how to setting up the Cscalp and a couple of of lessons about the DOM physics you need only your own practice practice and practice.

Sure. If I see in order book, or in a tape or in a cluster big volume passed/exists that's mean it time to see what is going on and be ready for a trade. Look- for Bitcoin in Binance spot orderbook 200 contract is a big volume in dollars it is about 1 million. For the instruments which have less liquidity 200-300k in dollars on a single price usually is enough for me to detect it as a density++it depends also for the moment's volatility in the market.

I have a little question, i've read all your examples and i've looked the free courses videos of Cscalp for scalping, i think i get the 3-4 strategies quite ok now, i'll try
BUT in these videos the guy puts one DOM of spot price, and one DOM of future price,
is it really interesting to have the 2 at same time ? Perhaps to spot volumes on spot which not appeared on futures ?

I guess it's not useful since you and your fellows are not doing it

i'm trying to have a decent trading set up to start, do you have some improvements to advise me with all your screen time experience ?
the graph are h4-m5-m1 (just my swing trader habits coming back) but i'm open to any advises/changes to optimize that, ty ( i have 6 screen but only 4 available cuz 1 graphic card dead XD )

I see a first problem here, i think it can be useful for other novices like me, i've made a good trade (at my eyes) but the fees are so hig and so i'm break-even on this trade.
What's your advice to this problem ? i must just trade in x10-20 range in the DOM until i get fees to the minimum ? I don't see a lot of other choices

The question behind that is : the fees must represents around how many boxes/ticks in the DOM according to your experience ?

PS : Yes i'm stupid, i didn't see the 20% discount on fees from Cscalp referral link, and now it's too late to add it, i'm angry to me but it's too late :/

Sometimes I receive a disconnect message from FTX and my SL and TP vanish.

Do you encounter this problem?

Hi urspolar,

I think you will need to change the property below, in the settings of the instrument. This puts the sl and/or tp on the serverside instead on the terminal.
So even when it disconnects, the tp and/or sl will get triggered anyway.

Finally, I was able to verify my account with FTX, set up the CSCALP and placed my first trade. Then the first problem appeared. The trade was running in profit then I decided to close using a sell limit, I got an error message that says "not logged in, timestamp is too far from current time". I continued to try and I kept getting the same error code. Later the trade came back into a loss and eventually I was able to close without getting the error.

I have placed some other trades without problems, but sometimes the error appears and sometimes it stop appearing. Has anyone experienced this? If yes, how did you fix it? Appreciates your response.

In my scalping strategy I use scalping soft which provides me with level 2 quotes and giving oppotunity to open and close trades just by one mouse click. I trade both and futures and spots. For chart analyses I use another soft which I like really much. Which is your preferences ,and what kind of soft you use in your trading? {image}
What means level 2 quotes? Haven't seen information about it in binance API

Possibly this should trigger response from other market members as large orders are usually associated with professional traders that attempt to price in some valuable information. A kind of technical analysis, just instead of price is order flow.

Most of the big volumes you see in the Dom are just robots, they disappear as soon as price approach them so you cant make decision based on them.
