It would be nice if you showed me the number of time we wanted. Example: Just want to see the weekly and monthly. But it always shows four periods.

hello there ! how to code EA to take 1 trade per signal and wait for new signal for next trade even it hit tp. Example if EA place buy trade in buy signal and it hit the 5pip and current trend is buy when tp hit it will not place anymore trade in buy trend it will wait for next new signal which will be sell then it will place sell trade . any code or function for this

Some extra context to others:
- the indicator was written with older event functions like init and start, so it was written when #strict didn't exist, and so I wouldn't try to force #strict property on it
- possible data loss warning usually isn't a critical error (chart scales are only 0-5 so youre not losing any important data), and if the indicator is not working with #strict, then it's probably some other issue elsewhere
- highlight chartgetinteger n press f1 in metaeditor to readup on it n see what kind of data value it is giving you
- chartgetinteger returns a long value, which is an integer type, but not an int and twice as big in memory as an int, which is probably what the variable CHARTS was declared as
- when you put a long value into an int variable, the long value will get chopped up to be able to fit into the smaller int variable, the compiler will tell you that if #strict is used (and its good to use strict)
- using #strict forces stricter compiling, which makes a lot of older indicators not work, because now all the little errors here n there will not be tolerated
- if you know that the number you're getting from the function is small or int size, then you can convert it to an int by typecasting which is what cja did, which cuts off the unused long space and keeps the int space with the int value you want. But if the value you're getting is a long value, like a chart id, then the variable should also be a long type.
- going forward writing new indicators, use the template that has #strict by defualt and the newer event functions provided when you start a new indicator in metaeditor

i have checked all the zigzag with similar interface but they are not same
Please i need your help, i imagine two situation, please i appreciate any one

please kindly change the alert system of this indicator

1. the indicator should alert when breakout previous high/low on exit and re-entry, extend lines to alert re-entry(screenshot 1)
2. OR the indicator should have option to alert pips away from the newly created high/low (screenshot 2)

it will help to spot real time alert, opportunities and avoid repainting alerts
please i also observed that i enable message alert but sound is working when its false, which should not

Happy New Year everyone, let's hope 2022 isn't as nuts as 2021!

I have a few request for the attached indicator:

1. Can anyone help shift the custom candle by one, for example, if the 4 hour custom candle starts at 9am, I have a 'button' to shift it back and forth by one; the 4 hour candle starts at 8am or 10am. All other drawn 4 hour candles are shifted too.

2. There's a option there to limit the amount of candles drawn but I don't think it is working and it's using a lot of memory and drawing a lot of candles on the charts.

3. If possible, can you make an option to place timeframe buttons on the chart for this indicator, so I don't have to keep right click, go to indicator, and change the timeframe like that all the time. For example, 2hr, 3hr, 6hr, 8hr, 12hr buttons on the chart. It also stop using multiple indicators of this one to free up resources.

Hopefully, someone can help out and it's very much appreciated, cheers!

Hi,
I am looking for an EA which can change time frame automatically in MT4 (and MT5 if possible), which the input are for the following conditions:
a. if there are x numbers of opened orders, auto change from current TF to H1 TF(example)
b. if there is an order (buy or sell) opened at x lot size, TF will change from current to H1 TF (example).

the TF change will happen on all windows opened on the same terminal.
