Disliked{quote} In the Commercial section, mostly trader protection but I'm also interested in prop-firms and getting funded. Collaborate and help in many other sections. Very active in the Platform Tech section but every answer requires more effort from my side. Many times I have to share code and solutions when I see they don't get the expected help from active contributors that don't know how to solve one specific issue. In other sections, I used to read compliments and very kind private messages. This Commercial section is different, I read things like...Ignored
DislikedMFF updated their Phase 1 and 2 Bonuses rules From their discord - Lets talk our phase 1 and 2 bonuses. We have had numerous people trying to take advantage of the fact phase 1 and 2 are demo accounts and then when they get to live they trade 0.01 10 times to reach payout criteria. They cheat on the demo, don't trade on the live. Rinse repeat and rather than changing our rules that most people abide by, we will limit the bonus value to all (because 90% of bonuses are target only anyway). For this reason we are now adjusting our Phase 1 and 2 bonuses...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I don't like those scammers that demand to be real prop-firms. I'm discussing this in a Commercial section of this forum. I'm not dealing with any fellow trader, I'm dealing with sellers. And their relatives that address me with misogyny comments, insults, etc. Just because I don't like the business type of some sellers. You can quote the posts I answer in order to contextualize why my posts are the way they are. Anyway, none of your accusations are true. And it is worse, you have been only in this forum defending some sellers and criticizing...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I never understood quite well the MFF announcements, always a confusing mess of ideas. Something I take is the witch-hunt and the gag laws.Ignored
Disliked{quote} People were cheating on demo accounts to get their phase bonuses, the phases are demo accounts. What the users did was make well beyond target on demo, then on live trade micro lots to be up 1$ so they get the refund (112%) + the phase 2 bonus (4% of the demo money made). If people are cheating and doing that and it catches on, its a quite way to bankrupt them. They are protecting the business so that everyone can enjoy it and they are still providing the bonuses. It was pretty clear to me.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Phase I bonus is paid when Phase II is finished. Still, they argue there is an abuse of that bonus in Phase III. They lie, they are well on the same route as Funding Talent. Just wait a few more time to confirm. Remember, Funding Talent always paid until they stopped paying. Now about Phase II bonus. Joe purchased a $100000 Challenge for $499. Let's suppose, on Phase II he got a Profit of $10000 (when only $5000 was required). By the end of Phase III, just by playing (cheating in MMF own words) micro lots to end positive Joe will receive...Ignored
Disliked{quote} What I dont get is, if a trader can pass phase 1 and 2, then why dont they use full risk on their phase 3 and get a proper full profit split payout, rather than using micro lots to just get a small bonus? So all that messing about just to make $400, when the fact is they have made it to phase 3 and could make a ton more in that month....doesnt make sense. .....which ive just realised is basically what you just saidIgnored

Disliked{quote} It's not just to make $400. They exploit the demo account(s) in the phase 1 and phase 2 and then just barely make enough to earn a profit split once live. If someone makes 100K profit in phase 2 when only 5k was required (100K eval) to pass, doesn't that seem a bit suspicions? I closed my evals down when I'm a dollar over the target. TBH, I think it's awesome they even pay a bonus on eval phases, once again, NOBODY else does.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I was just assuming that they would make about double I.E 10% instead of 5% like in Jotas example, ......but to make an extra 95k ontop of their 5k! That would be impressive and I could understand the incentive. Thing is though is (or was) it really classed as cheating? It was within the rules at first. Sounds like its partly MFFs fault that they left themselves wide open to it. If I leave the door wide open and get robbed..... is that the robbers fault.... or mine?Ignored
