Disliked{quote} Hi Hline ! Good! Green is my favorite color. Contol and use appropriate trading volumes in soft's trading volumes part. So decide your first trading volume. Lets say you have 15 dollars capital ,so your first trading volume can be 1X leverage 15 dollars worth position. Use this for all instruments, so if you lose 1% samewhere your 1% profit cover this loss. If the situation is good(you have short stop) enough you can try with doubled first trading volume(so you have to click left or right 2 times). So now you have money management plan and...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Machinator, thanks for replying! Yes i think for now i stick to the minimum size until i got more confidence, at least until end of this week. I still am a bit anxious to enter on other instruments i havent traded yet but the DOM is the same on each pair right. Next week i plan to increase volume, for now im trying to replay some recorded DOM (with chart shown next to it) to see what the tape tries to tell me. For now i noticed that at times you just are able to read if price is going...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi ! To start I recommend the basic excercise for all the scalpers. Find an instrument or a couples with a large spread(distance between the best seller and buyer price),Find an activity on it and try to to collect the spread. It is easy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrQ3nShG6gU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKaZIthmZS8 Both videos are in russian, but you don't need to undesrtand the speech.Just look in the DOM(you are right it is order's book) and look and learn what the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Hline! You found a situation and worked it out ! Good job! Later with time working in the DOM you will see more and more situations .They will be really simple as like you don't belive that you can make money from them. You are right the long way ahead .I like your approach, your understanding that to take money from the market you need time and efforts. The only reason I am here to see how you and other hardworking guys becoming better traders than me, than my colleges with better longterm results. It is only thing in this business besides...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Machinator, No trading today, dont have the focus at the moment. In this post you are talking about collecting spread in the DOM with larger spread. I've watched both videos, turned on subtitles, but somehow my brain doesnt see what its about. Is it to much asked for you to make one or two screenshots what collecting spread is about, its easy you said but i must be looking at it wrong then? I tried to find relative videos but didnt find any yet. Can it be done on any pair with large spread, the other is with small spread i think. Thanks...Ignored
DislikedHi guys. Machinator i want to say thank you for opening this thread. I study this thread from the beginning and it really is an eye opener. And the software is very good. It is a little difficult for me to study because my kid wants to watch youtube when i have time to study and i have latency problems. And then when my kid goes to sleep my wife wants to watch netflix or something...Anyway i am not as successfull as HLine but i think slowly some things start to click in my head and i will get better. When i get it right and win the trade...

Disliked{image} Combination of seeing imbalances and following big volume, at least try to. @Mike.Hatzis, how familiar! Got a bunch of kids running around too, sounds all to familiar. @Machinator: If you got time and are willing, could you please describe how the collecting spread works in the DOM? I keep replaying the videos but scratch my head continually and have no hair left anymoreIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Hline, thanks to be active in the thread. Sorry I don't have the skills to record videos cut them etc. But I will try to explain with the video below. So what I mean by saying ''collecting spread/volatility" in the DOM. As I told it is basic for all the scalpers ,it is alpha and omega of scalping. Collecting spread/volatility in the DOM means when you see activity in the DOM active buying and selling ,you put your limit order before first buyer in the spread and when your order filled you are put your closing limit order before the first...Ignored
