Hi

I'm looking for some help: I want to plot a graph of the percentage change from the previous days close. Its a multipair graph. But all I get is horizontal lines so something is wrong with the code (see attached). The logic is plot as an indicator ((current price - prev day close) / prev day close )* 100 for each of the six pairs. Any help from you super coders is appreciated.

No.
It's not an indicator. It's a script. You have to put it in your scripts folder on MT4. Then attach it to the chart. Because it is a script, it will only work once. If you want to remove the horizontal lines, you will have to do so manually. If you attach the script to the chart using a different 'iBarsBack' number, then the current horizontal lines will change position.
Learn from your mistakes and march on.

- you're basing this off the old event handling, and I doubt you have the strict property on. You should use the new event handling that is used as default and provided in every new indicator file in the editor
- you're looping down across the chart history, thats fine, the buffer indexes youre drawing to are matched to candle indexes, thats fine, but the close values of the previous day are stuck on the index 1, and the close value of the live day are stuck on index 0. These need to be looping across the chart too, else for every candle youre just using the same values
- the live close needs to be the index of the candle you want the close from
- the day close needs to be the index of the day candle you want the day close from, read up ibarshift to give it the correct shift value from the current tf index

I would like some help. I'm looking for an indicator that is exactly like the Moving Average indicator that can be attached to other indicators that will put an arrow on the chart when it changes direction. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

Hi Master Coders,

I have a problem coding an iCustom. I wish to call the values of fx[1] and fx[10] for the 2 lower timefrime. The code was returning the correct values for other timeframe except for M15 timeframe which returning the value fx[1] and fx[10] for M1. it will be appreciated if Master Coders could take a look on below codes and kindly advise the best code... please find the pic of the outputs for your perusal

If price for SELECTED currency pairs goes above or below a SELECTED EMA and or SMA by a SELECTED number of pips on a SELECTED Time Frame, PLACE trade to the opposite side of the movement using a SELECTED percentage (Decimal values included) of Free Margin with a SELECTED number of pips as Stop Loss and a SELECTED number of pips as Take Profit.

hi,
What you describe is very similar to a Donchian Channel.
It creates a box where you can set the number of bars to find the Highest and Lowest of the box for that bars range.

Rather than something personally codes, maybe the Donchian Channel, an off-the-shelf, standard indicator might work?
