I can't understand how they scrapped their whole challenge model and rebranded as a direct funding firm.
What happened to the challenge Traders that passed and earned funded accounts?(if any) Abandoned? Assassinated?

Be fun to see if they pay Expo though. It appears he loves to live on the edge lol.

If it turns out they can pay anyone for up to 3 months, Would also be the best option for any one else interested in the direct funding scheme.

Are you guys talking about DT4X? Have they been already in the business under a different brand?

its good to see that this forum has moved on from Jessica.

She will forever be inside expos heart though.

Her latest announcement pretty much confirms they have had a run in with the regulator. It was on instagram if you care.

"JUST TO CLARIFY GUYS ITS A DEMO ACCOUNT FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES OK" yep... But what about all those words you said about copying peoples trades?

Liar liar moo moos on fire.

Dt4x dont waste your time guys... not even worth a gamble. I also think I'm done gambling on some of prop firms. Its pretty much confirmed that there are only 2 maybe 3 firms worth a damn and they will end up being the ones left standing a few years from now.

Agree 100%. MFF, FTMO and the 5%ers. Just to confirm though, I only like the 5%ers summer plan, their traditional "scaling" model is a no go for me.

I never even knew these type of prop firms existed, until a family started trading for the first time around beginning of 2020 (covid times) ftmo was mentioned.

Always wondered if a trading prodigy came along, if these firm would be able to payout. Trader making $100k a day. The way I am reading these firms (I could be totally wrong) earn good chunk of money on failed challenges. The traders that are making money the firms copy their trades.

Trader raking in 100k a day, would be pushing heavy lots on demo - Not sure if the firms will copy his/her trades going heavy on live markets.

So how does a trader at that level get paid, trading with ftmo, mff etc..

no one you know or I know is making 100k per day trading in FX prop.

Actually, I'd be highly suspect if a prop firm went around claiming a trader made 100k every month considering their offerings.

I hear ya bud, 100k a day is like where did you come from can we be best friends?

What do mean by highly suspect, A good fully fund trader with say $600k funding should be able to make that much very month, No?

Considering some of the best traders in the world make less than 50% a year no.

Could you do it for a few months, maybe.... not likely but maybe.

Having spoken with some prop firms in details, 99% of the traders don't last 3 months. So... use that to determine the probability of someone raking 100k/day or even 100k/month consistently.

Thanks for sharing, 99% last 3 months. Do you think its psychological sabotage or inexperience?

Generally a trader with say 10 years experience and solid plan, shouldn't be destroying a prop account in 3 months. So it is all new folks passing challenges and trying their luck?

Yea DT4X seems pretty shady. Guess I can kiss my $395 goodbye. Haven't tried to execute a trade yet. No response from chat. Asked them about my trendline EA earlier this morning.

99% on what size account. Obviously, you're risking at least 10-15% per trade Yes, psychology plays a part. Easy to make 99% on an account under $1000. You can risk like crazy as you only have $1,000 in play. Try to do that on 100K+ account, completely different mindset.

A famous person once said that many people have opportunity but choose to be poor. You can assume this of most retail traders who try to make it big. They are consumers, they consume social media like no tomorrow. I know many good traders from my brokerage days who make a lot of money, but they sure as hell do not buy lambos, throw cash at strippers etc. They conserve it because they know that the next paycheck isnt so sure.

The psychological element of someone with no money have access to lots is generally a guarantee that most traders will lose the money at some point.

If the trader gets out more than they pay, its good as the flow will exist forever (providing the company itself mitigates the loss risk) and the industry will last equally as long.

This market is interesting, its very nichey and theres a lot of opportunity but so far if you sit in the communities its attracting its mostly 20-25 yr old people from poor countries talking about how they are going to buy the next aventador with their profits.

Let's not lose hope, maybe it's just a weekend break and the account will be working in the morning... BTW, this thread is brilliant, it helps us to eliminate scammers and helps to choose the proper prop company.
It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future...

My account is working fine.

I didn't realize I was going to the old site (the one that says under maintenance).

I just sent a message on Telegram. I've never used telegram or discord until today. The thought of chatting with a bunch of degenerates makes my skin crawl. It's bad enough reading the forum threads

He was referencing that 99% of the prop traders blow out in 3 months or less, not a 99% gain on accounts in 3 months.
