Good day,

I am looking for an EA on MT4 that will close a trade once the candle closes above or below an moving average.

1. open 2 - 3 trades and enter the order number of the trade that you want to leave running into the EA, the other trades have take profit values
2. the moving average is the Jaws in the Alligator indicator
3. on the H1 timeframe, close sell trade when the candle closes above the Jaws, close buy trade when the candle below the Jaws. Buy trades might be opened below the Jaws, and sell trades might be opened above the Jaws

my request is to create a direct button to activate/deactivate the magnetic function

magnet on = 50 magnetic sensitivity
magnet off = 0 magnetic sensitivity

Pick a number x, you think is about right for any random coder's time in $/hr. Even if the hobby rate drops $/hr to 0, there is still effort/hour to be paid.
You're not a coder so you can't acurately make an estimate, but guess how many hours y it would take for someone to interpret, write, test, debug, test again, debug then test again, to get x13 bespoke factors working in the way you want.
Now multiply x $(or)effort/hr by y hours, that's how much you're asking someone to do for you for nothing in return but the fun of doing it. Either way it's a lot to ask for. Imagine someone asking you for that amount, because they really wanted it, and said how much they'd appreciate it, how quickly would you roll your eyes?

That was unexpected and thank you sincerely John4y for helping me out!
I am just testing the theory and different settings.

Unfortunately, the EA isn't doing what I thought that I had described but, probably my fault for explaining it poorly. Sorry.

Sell
A candle opens above the top keltner line. This candle then closes below the middle line and, does not touch the bottom keltner line.
Attached is 16/08/21 AUSUSD H1 sell example. A buy signal is the exact opposite.
Buy
A candle opens below the bottom keltner line. This candle then closes above the middle line and, does not touch the top keltner line.

It does exactly as you described.

Question is: When do you want it to Buy or Sell and when to Close position ?

Do you open a Buy Trade:
* when candle opens below the bottom keltner line ?
OR
* when This candle then closes above the middle line ?
OR
* does not touch the top keltner line ?
OR
* something between ???????

AND
When to Close the position ?

AND
What settings do you intend to use ?


Anyway, as I said before: Not sure how you're gonna use it, but without additional filters it's not a winning thing ! ! !
Very often opened position will go against you !

other than it needs source (mq4) file to do any alteration within any indicator,ex4 do not work at all,the indicator in topic is an repainter toy,do you know its repainting behavior ?

Hello traders can we have someone make a Simple EA for us indicator it's a non recalculater, so here is my discretion EA should open a position on current open candle close at opposite signal or use Tp, TP and stoplos should be flexible, EA should have only brakeven if price move 20 pips set brakeven at 0pips or 10 pips this should be flexible turn it on or off. Ur help will be appreciated

Hi folks,
Does anybody know any indicator that shows how many pips price has been moved from the lowest to the highest let say on the last 14 candles (on the current TF)? perhaps along with a rectangle to make it more visual. Hope somebody would code this simple indicator.

Could somebody please help me out with an indicator for MT4 that will just show the previous 4H candle close imn the current period.
See screenshot attached of what I already have for the daily, weekly and monthly closes.
I have an ex4 file but need it in an mq4 for back testing.

Happy to pay someone if I need to, I just don't know anyone that does this sort of thing?
