I understood what you said about my morality and yes mine is low This is quite normal since I'm the product of the twisted morality of my gov but at least I'm honest about it. To answer your question a banana republic is a country that is unable to pay its debt and, unfortunately, Japan and the US are close to that threshold. The higher highs and higher lows period is over today as Bitcoin went down $1,493 with a lower than average ATR of 2,187 with a high of $40,477 and a low of $38,290.

I never said that all countries are corrupted but I'm 100% convinced that all countries have corrupted politicians. I don't minimize political assassinations and you are probably correct that there are more in NK, China and Russia but at least I don't pretend that my country is exempt from them. There has been many political assassinations in both of our countries but, unlike your country, they were not conducted by the gov. I'm sure I know better than you what's right and what's wrong because I was in the first Gulf war in 1991 and saw the dead and many were non-combatant victims. I'm what I'm because of my training so my morality level is low. However, unless you were in combat situations and saw the results with your own eyes (not on TV) you have no right to judge me.

The threshold is when countries go bust when they cannot pay the debt owed to their DEBTORS I guess you were unaware of this little economic fact. Just to name a few of them since 2000: Argentina in 2001, Zimbabwe in 2007, Iceland in 2008, Belize in 2012, Greece in 2015, Venezuela in 2017 and Barbados in 2018. By the way my country went but in 1840.

Bitcoin went down $785 today with a lower than average ATR of 2,177 with a high of $39,535 and a low of $37,358. It looks bearish when the closing price is close to the low of the day.

BTC/USD Bullish and Bearish sentiment levels

Right now Bitcoin is consolidating after a full-week of strong gains (+33%). To get a overview of where werounded might be headed in the near future, I've applied the Fibonacci retracement levels on the 1D time-frame from the January 22 low to the April 14 high.


Bearish signs
At the moment the strongest and most obvious hurdle for BTC is the 1D MA200 (orange trend-line). We haven't closed above it for almost a month (last 1D closing above it was on May 20) having registered a clear rejection on May 26.

As discussed on previous analyses, a Death Cross is emerging on 1D (MA50 crossing below the MA200), which technically is a bearish formation.

A 'hidden' bearish sign can be seen on the 1D RSI where it just got rejected on a Lower Highs trend-line that stands since January 08.


Bullish signs
The most encouraging sign is that the price action is on Higher Lows and Higher Highs since May 26. That forms a Channel Up.

The 1W MA50 (bold red line) is intact.

The 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level has supported more candles than not.

The MACD is still on a Bullish Cross


Levels to beat
The bullish sentiment will get stronger on the short-term as long as the Channel Up holds. On the contrary, the bearish case prevails if it breaks the Higher Lows trend-line.

The 1D MA200 is headed for the 0.5 Fibonacci trend-line, which last time it broke and closed a 1D candle above it (February 08), opened the way for new Highs. So if this level is crossed, BTCUSD succeeds in breaking two important bearish barriers.

The range above the 0.50 Fib and the (dashed) Lower Highs trend-line of the April 14 High, is the transition phase, where the price can turn neutral again. Only above this line, can we claim with a strong level of confidence that the long-term bullish trend is back.

I like to be trashed by NKPMG wannabe because it's about the worst a trader can be by always be negative. Talking about copy-paste contribution I would love to see you prove your statement. Bitcoin went down $2,186 today with a higher than average ATR of 3,073 with a high of $38,207 and a low of $35,134. It looks bearish again because the closing price is close to the low of the day.
