I feel the need to address an issue.
If you build an indicator from scratch, then you have the right to make it available in any file format you desire, as it is your creation. You own the copyright on it.
However, if an indicator was created with the intent to be open source and free, meaning, the person who originally created it was open to allowing people to modify it, then it should be kept that way.
It is unethical to turn an indicator that was created to be open source into an exe file. The original creator made it open source for a reason. It should be kept that way out of respect for the person's copyright who originally created it.
If you object to this, then it would probably be best for you not to participate in modifying open source indicators created by other people. In short, if it is an mq4 file created by someone to be open source, then keep it that way.
