The Dow was also still strong from Friday's close unfortunately I never keep trades open overnight.

I use the Micro DAX for longer Swing trades only. (20p+)
Not for scalping. Spread is still to wide, due to to low volume

Maybe they need time, maybe it's only an Eurex fiasco. They are far away from CME MICRO, for now.

FDXM are a real effective tool, but I don't remember when they launched 6 years ago, if they took off soon or not.

The DAX Mini launch also took several Months before it was picked up in volatility
