Greetings
I need your help.
One could edit the AWESOME OSCILATOR indicator and insert ARROWS.
The indicator has two elements in the sub window.
1) line (yellow)
2) histogram bars (green and red).
I want it to have an ARROW every time the histogram crosses level 0 and that it appears intrabar and is confirmed with a closed candle.

I later realised that MQL5 has this function ChartIndicatorGet() where I can get the indicator handler of the indicators on chart. So this version should be able to help. But only available in MQL5, not mql4. Anyway, if you are using MT4, Paul and Jeanlouie have already shared some workarounds.

Super done, you made it possible within MT4 exactly as needed, so one can always have a clean chart with a preselection of indicators to apply and hide on demand.

While testing i noticed that buttons not always get focus again and need to switch timeframes in order to reactivate.
Buttons extend to display the full indicators name length and shrink after activation.

I would suggest the following:
integrate the buttons in an indicator panel, kind as for symbol changer with XY position coordinates and row & col numbers to build buttons as a panel.
option to rename buttons with shortname instead of displaying the full indicator name, so all buttons can have the same size. (Full indicators names referenced in properties)

Maybe the same button can be used (with focus setting) for calling indicator and hiding (different color), as done for On/Off buttons
The second buttons 1, 2, 3, ... to reorder indicators position is ingenious!

It's fine if you want it there, it would only run on loading, but if you were supplying the file out, then eventually someone would say "hey its a new month n it's not working", because it won't handle being on and a new terminal month occuring without re-initializing. So that's why I'd put it in OnCalc and just limit it's run to once a new month.

That would be easier but if you inspect the functionality, you'll notice that the Windows Manager is no limited to the indicators that were already in the chart. It keeps track of those and any other you add at any time. So, you can add and remove indicators even with the default mechanics of MetaTrader. The Windows Manager will take care of all of them.

As I have seen, some of you may use the same indicator in more than one window. I have fix this issue and in the version attached, you can add the same indicator several times and the Windows Manager will keep track of them.

I really appreciate all of you that provide some feedbacks as it helps me to identify issues and future features to add.

The MT5 version will also be available soon. They share almost the same code. When I get some free time, I will make some modifications and attach the MT5 version.

When for instance there're 3 subwindows open:
After having closed and reopened 2nd or 3rd button several times they stop working.
First button always continu to operate correctly, 3rd button sometimes.

Changing timeframe, then all 3 operates again till the same problem occures

With respect to the above, please note that when applying the Windows Manager, all buttons from left side chart are hidden.
Therefore it would be nice to have a panel setting as for the symbol changer with XY position coordinates, so the buttons are confined within a limited area

May I address a further question:

Indicator On/Off Buttons are a great thing and make charts much cleaner to read, that’s a fact.
However, these requires a full integration of each respective/individual indicator in addition to the already existing indicator in the navigator.

From the moment I noticed such On/Off possibilities I knew there would be a way of calling indicators from navigator with Buttons somewhere on the Chart, and you made it possible with your ‘Windows Manager’ for subwindows, for which many many thanks.

Now, my question: Would it be possible to do the same for indicators on the main chart?
So to have a same kind of button panel with preselected indicators that can be displayed/hidden (kind of On/Off) on demand.

I’m not far enough in programming to do it myself as I’m still learning the mql, but hope one day become as good as you are, you’re really really ingenious !

All you have commented till now is possible.

Features pending:
- Allow other buttons to be on the chart.
- Keep track of main window indicators.
- Set all the buttons in a panel.

Alright, it's not an ea, but I put entry and exit arrows in the first 4 buffers that you can call from an ea. The conditions seem right, but of course verify. Alerts too, and works on completed bars.
