Thanks Mntiwana but that's not what I want. May be it's my fault because I might be over complicating things?

If we drag an indicator on another indicator in a separate window, normally we can see some options like the one in the screenshot. Please check the screenshot. I want to able to select "first indicator's data". The screenshot belongs to the classical BB indicator and not to the custom bands indicator. I do not want a CCI or anything else.

I just need a classical Bollinger band with smoothed moving average and I have that. The indicator attached is a bollinger band which has smoothed moving average option but with it, I can not select "first indicator's data" and I want to be able to select it. So in that case, all I need is an addition of an ability to select "first indicator's data" to the attached custom bands indicator. I hope I could make myself clear. I really need that.

Is it possible to make a Stochastics EA, whereby:
01: the EA creates a BUY trade on the indicator closing above any one or many lines, eg, 20, 50, 80, without closing out any previous trades
02: the EA creates a SELL trade on the indicator closing below any one or many lines, eg, 20, 50, 80, without closing out any previous trades
03: the lot size is configurable
04: on MT5

I want to explore hedging, whereby a tranche of trades are accumulated over many days, and I can manually harvest / close-out trades.

Is there a maximum number of open trades allowed?

I have been struggling to find the proper syntax for using with iCustom to enter into the MetaEditor on line 47 of output_history.ex4. I've found tons of information that are about this particular script but they are all addressing far more complex issues than where I am on my learning curve. At this point, I have been learning VBA from scratch and would like to be able to work with the raw data of an indicator alongside of the open/close/high/low that I am able to export directly from MT4. However, I have spent a long time trying to find any help with how I can find the syntax on my own such that I can use this script for future indicators (or even the first one). If anyone can nudge me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

How can I access information from MT4 in order to know what a particular indicator's parameters are such that I can then correctly format line 47 of output_history.ex4? If possible, an example would really help me as I'm very new to this.

But the mistake was due to distraction, I don’t know how I got it wrong, but I had already done it with other logics and it didn't work.
Corrected and continues to buy only, does not follow up on the second part of the sales code.

Your code has many return(0) statements where they are not needed. This is causing your your loop to break out once the condition is triggered and does not check the rest of the code.

I have commented most of them out, with the exception of line 115, which needs to remain as that is part of the Start function.

Hello thread admin,
I need help on combining two indicator which serves the same purpose (to change between symbols).
The only difference is one will read the symbols listed in Market Watch as the source and another one needed to be set manually every pair that need to be view.
I want to combine the source of Symbols into drop down with 2 options 1) Market Watch 2) Custom. Market Watch will take directly from the list, and Custom will have another space below to add the symbols needed. In addition I would also like to add drop down to timeframe selection with 3 choice 1) Off 2) All 3) Custom (with space below to add the timeframes needed). Basically both indicators are fully functional I just don't know how to combine both.

Hi, I am hoping that you can create an alert output and signal buffers for this indicator with following parameters please.

alert/signal for all symbols in market watch, when any TF candle, under any TF profile, or H1 &/or H4 (either specified or both) Closes & opens on any of the previous P.O.C.'s within a specified range of pips ?

This will be very useful and will be very much appreciated and will update with results. Thank you very much, I think this is worth your time. I don't know if I can have the code with it, either way is perfectly perfect.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a very basic EA that trades when a fibonacci level is hit (pre-defined by user).

Is it possible to code this?

like, say I draw a fib from any Swing High to another Swing Low for example or vice versa, then open the EA and it will check where the fib was plotted and then based on the levels drawn by the fib it will either buy/sell or both when X levels are reached, and SL/TP will be set by the user...

Any help, or a code to start an EA would be very apreciated!
