Hi all....
.....anyone got any EA that would allow to open 2 orders at the sametime .............. SL option that would allow to be set in fixed Pips or ATR multiples.............
....TP option that would allow , TP at ATR multiples or fixed Pips.......
....TP option that would allow a BE applied automatically upon achieving TP for the First trade ..........
Note :ATR multiples that has option to choose TF as well

typically, a programming language like metatrader's mql doesnt do any two things at the same time..

you will need to open one trade and then open the second trade..

My humble request to all master coder please modify attached indicator so text show above horizontal lines (need to fix) /below(already ok) or add text shift more right options so price/chart not clutter (as i attached image red arrow)

Hi

Can someone help make a indicator which changes the border colour of a candle (able to choose the colour) at a specific time of the day, everyday for the last xx days (for example last 30 days). See attached example (hand drawn)

It would be even more beneficial if i could chose 3 candles per day to do this - For example 10:00hrs, 15:00hrs, etc ... If this is not possible, then just 1 candle per day would be fine and i can put the indicator multiple times in the chart to select different times.

Would really appreciate it .. Thanks!!!

That's not doable, this is a workaround.

Candle_Highlighter
- highlights target candle
- target by time of day, day of week or both
- multi instance

i have perhaps been a programmer since before many of this forum's participants parents had entered puberty.

i much enjoy to write code on the arduino, and this video is a basic explanation about multitasking.

fyi, arduino code is basically C language with built-in robotics functions, similar to how metatrader's mql language is C language with built-in trading functions.

i would not use the metro library to handle my timing functions, i would definitely hand code my own timing functions.

I wondering if somehow can give me some clarity on the the CHIKOUSPAN in a ea. I''m trying to use mainly the iIchimoku indicator in a EA I've made. The issue I'm having is when I try using the command of:

iIchimoku(NULL, PERIOD_M30, 9, 26, 52, MODE_CHIKOUSPAN, 0) < iIchimoku(NULL, PERIOD_M30, 9, 26, 52, MODE_KIJUNSEN, 0) //Ichimoku Kinko Hyo > Ichimoku Kinko Hyo

this code alone makes my EA either open sell orders only or sometimes no orders at all. Never buy orders. When used as an indicator instead, the buy and sell arrows appear, but the buy order arrow does not appear until hours later when the trade is long gone for execution. Take this one line of code away and my EA works fine, but not complete without this. The Chkouspan itself is messing with the EA.

I understand the Chikouspan uses the past 26 bars, but unclear whether or not the command itself can be used this way in an EA based on these errors I see. The log doesn't report any issues.

Even with the shift for value as so:
iIchimoku(NULL, PERIOD_H1, 9, 26, 52, MODE_CHIKOUSPAN, 19) < iOpen(NULL, PERIOD_H1, 1) //Ichimoku Kinko Hyo < Candlestick Open

The EA still does the same thing. What I'm asking is if the Chikouspan at all can be used in a EA successfully or based on how its calculated it will not work correctly or well with any command cross references to another indicator?
I'm trying to find out if this can be used or not in a EA or if its more for manual visual trades and observing charts? If it can be used in a EA, can you give an example of a code using it? Thanks

This indicator did not work for me. It appears in the dashboard, but there are no dots or arrows on the chart.
