DislikedI believe a combination of A, B, and C is what is transpiring in front of us. {quote} Bitcoin Core team introduced a bug that allows for an 'anyonecanspend' transaction. 24:14 {quote} Likely not an isolated government but a rogue agency using BTC for darknet markets. 29:30 {quote} If CW demonstrates core developers are irresponsible and compromised Bitcoin's security in court, then as you said "game changer". 40:06...Ignored
With that said, the video didn't do much to uncover the lawsuit mystery. CW is laser focused on the legal supersession of bitcoin code, ie law rules code. I can't tell if his focus is due to his bitcoin being stolen, or because he is trying to prove the law>code argument.
Btw, one of the best points of the video is that "hodlers" don't understand accounting. To those of us versed in accounting we can see the underlying debits, credits, ledgers, correcting entries, etc, that are the foundation of cryptos. Those who've never done accounting think it's all new. I would go further by saying that "hodlers" don't understand ownership law (eg copyright, trademark). To those who understand these subjects, it's clear that the "NFT" stuff is redundant at best.
Anyway, I'm still waiting for a video of CW talking about the lawsuit. I don't trust what's on the surface until we know what's deeper.
