Hi, I am looking for a line indicator which works as follows. It is basically just drawing trendlines but it's taking too much time to maually repeat the process of create, double click, enter date/time value for 8 lines that I do every session. So I am hoping to find an indicator to speed up the task.

Function:
1. Draws 8 or more lines as I specify.
2. Allows me to specify start date/time and end date/time.
3. Allows me to assign unique ID and display label on each of them.
4. Allows me to specify the level of both ends.
Option to save to and load from presets.

We (Luis and I) need your help with an indicator, please. There is a separate thread, and we already have the initial version of the indi here, but we need an expert eye to look through the code and iron it out, so that it behaves exactly as intended, i.e.:

It is a price-based indicator that highlights (paints) lower time frame candles which are simultaneously going in the same direction as multiple higher time frames (user defined).

Example: if D1, H4 and M30 are all going up, on a lower chart timeframe, say M5, (or any other smaller than the smallest defined by the user within the indicator, M30 in this case), if the M5 candle is in agreement with all of the above time frames direction at the same time, it is highlighted (painted).

What's the pf over how many 100s of trades?

- pretty much anything is doable
- from another indicator, call those buffers via icustom and do what ever with them
- from that indicator, print() the values out, or comment them to the chart, or create texts or labels on the chart and give them the buffer values of the candle the mouse is over

I bother to reply to give you an opportunity to post your attempt at doing it, then I can give feedback. If you want to restrict a file and not pay for it, then google it and attempt it, I won't just give you the answer to restrict a file with nothing on your part.

That's decompiled/stolen code. Also theres a second loop in there that goes over the last 10 bars at every bar including the live bar. Also if it's made as a repainting indicator, leave it as is, trying to change it will completely destroy what it's trying to do and it'll probably have no more value to you (if you did have the source to modify).

- 8 separate start/end dates or all 8 share the same start/end?
- 8 separate price1 and price2 values?
- 8 separate labels?

MQL4 script cannot do this. Post the code that you were trying to use, I will like to see what is written in there

Use the attached file as an Indicator

Whenever you need to change from lines with width=1 to those with width=3, you will right-click on your terminal and select Indicator list
From the list of indicators, select dargane, then click the Edit button.
Change the values - make sure you change the prefix, then click OK to save. And click Close.

You can delete each line by double-clicking on it. After the line is selected, press the delete button on your keyboard. You wont need to reload a blank template.
