Hello everyone. im here beacuse i need someone that would be able to know the code of a metatrader indicator that i have. Unfortunately i only have the file ex4, i know there is another one normally that goes with it.

So i have 2 questions:

- is it possible for the inventor to change the indicator remotely or cancel it? would mine be affected?

-without the file with the code. is it possible to make it only with the ex4 file?

Thanks a lot. I hope i ve been clear and asked the right questions since im not developer.

Hi Everyone, i hope all are well. I came across the toggle ON/OFF thread https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...-onoff-buttons , and thought this would be great for forex sessions indicator. is there anyone who can please assist in adding the toggle on/ off function to this indicator?

he shared the half trend code on mql4 so then all you need is some one fluent in both i know comer was playing with it he might be able to give you some advice

Hi Andi,

Just to ask question, does EA include in your coding? I have been using EA for a month but i don't have the source code. If this question is irrelevant, you don't need to reply. Id be glad trying to ask than doing nothing.

Please consider there are very few coders and many many requests and it is purely on a voluntary basis, personally I have had little time to code anything other than small quick code requests over the last 6 months as I have been busy outside of the Forum and Forex and in these pandemic times I suspect that is also true for many other coders/members of this Forum.

Morning all,

As @cja said above, I understand the few coders out there must be inundated with request, so I always tried my best through research and try-and-error, to achieve my goals, but sometimes we hit a brick wall, and this is been a big, BIG wall for me in the last few days, in my head the logic is so simple (perhaps Im spoiled by pinescript simplicity as well) and I cant get this piece of code to work so if you out there, enjoying your Xmas morning cuppa, please, if thats easy easy code/logic, gift me with a solution, make a small fella happy this Xmas

Ok, down to the trouble:

As in the picture attached I have a T3 CCI Histogram and Im trying to "highlight" the first bar of the histo that changes direction (up/down) below the 18/-18 level, I have managed to achieve that with the following
Inserted Code
if(cci[i] < -18 && cci[i+1] > 0) ...
, as seen on the picture TOP part, it works ok, BUT when the bar is crosses below 0 but didnt reach -18 level it doesnt do its thing, so I used:

else if(cci[i] < -18 && cci[i+2] > 0) ...
and thats the BOTTOM part of the picture.

But, my goal is to highlight only the bar that is below -18 ignoring the ones between 0 and -17, with the code I used it highlight both (the else if still apply the first condition of if statement) giving me 2 highlighted bars which is not what I need.

I tried a few methods from other indicators but I didnt understand the logic used with mql4 to achieve what I want, if you know, how to do it please, give me a hand with it? or code that for me and I will learn from the code itself.
