DislikedThis looks like a good system, but could you explain a little more on how to trade it? The entry/exit rules are kind of hazy for me.Ignored
DislikedMy primary system for trading the markets is Volume Spread Analysis which is a variant of the Wykcoff method which goes back almost a century. In this thread I'll detail trade setups and the system in general. I welcome feedback and any recommended improvements. Just went short at 7300 for a quick trade to 7265 to ride the weakness from yesterday's failed upmove on the Daily and the weakness evident in the bar groups I've highlighted in the image below. {image}Ignored
DislikedThe EOS trade hit the target but the BTC trade didn't get filled even though price went to 8298 and the limit order was at 8300 - I set my target too close too resistance once again - need to train myself to subtract 15-20 pips from each trade to account for this. I'm still in the BTC trade as the past several bars seem like hidden selling and could be a wedge to force price down (another large climatic up bar was needed before the move down anyway) {image}Ignored
DislikedHidden buying can broadly be seen in accumulation phases but on a per bar basis by the spread, close and volume level of a bar, for example, a large spread down bar closing off it's lows with excessive volume would indicate hidden buying and the opposite scenario for hidden selling - I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for your interestIgnored
