Actually I got hit chasing the Euro short this morning and ended up with a heavy loss - takes a lot of diligent trading to make it up AND finish the day 5% up!

Hi guys

Well I'm finished for the day already. Decided to avoid trading in the european afternoon due to the heavy volatility however there's been plenty this morning I have to say!

Anyway 27% up so not too bad and only half of yesterday's amount of trades to get there!

There was a lot of movement in the market today and I missed most of it unfortunately, but I did manage to catch a little bit of it. +3.7% I'll take it.

Not much action today so I only managed a small scalp on gold to add +2.3%. A win is a win and I'll take it.

I've been watching since this started. Love how you guys are supporting each other and managing your ups and downs. Very cool.

I'm waiting for my funds to come into my account and I'm in. Mostly likely starting Sunday for sure.

I'll make sure my TE is all setup and ready to go.

Well i am back at it doing micro scalping on EUR/USD only i also run two EA\s on and off...So today i take 2.7% since its Friday and all.....I just started up trading manuall yesterday and today and made some 4.5% on this two days.....I will resume after Mondays trading...My big Dradown where cause i have the Marketmaker Pro EA and first day EU broke out with a 177% ADR so i needed to take some risky trades to get out at all,but banked abaut 11% that day so still good,but way to much DD...Now i use a 2 pips SL on my Microscalping so i dont risk a lot pr trade even i use high leverage....

TGIF!

Took another small scalp on gold today to add +3.9%, bringing this weeks total to +17%.

Not a bad week at all considering it was relatively stress free and I hardly spent any time on the charts.

$470 is a good amount to start with. Starting with $50 or $100 is very difficult!

Thanks for the heads up. To be honest, I wanted to start with $800. I do however plan on adding more to it.

The goal was to create a buffer for leverage and commission costs.

Thanks for sharing this. One question, how do you manage losses. Is it personal thing or there is a rule as well. I mean you have the rule for 10 pips a day, as the same comes for loss?

The day started out kinda rough. Trying to trade and multitask (working from home), etc, etc.

I managed to salvage the day and actually recover with 10 pips. Definitely gonna have to shoot just a tad higher for my minimum due to the commission pricing model I'm on. As I didn't get the $5 and ended up with $4. But that's on me; really good spreads but poor execution.

But hey...I'm in the green at the end of the day.

Snagged 28 pips for a 3% return. Overall for the week 3.8%.

I guess we're shooting for 220 pips for the month? 182 to go Steady is the pace.

Took a little knock today unfortunately ending my 21 day win streak.

I could have held on to the orders waiting for them to play out, but they did not look favorable long term so I decided to take the small loss instead of risking losing more. Its all good I'll recover this week.

That’s an excellent streak using the relative risk you’re doing.

Another decent run should see you past the 4 figure mark.
