Hello all! Its me again, love it or hate it.
The name of the indicator has been changed to make the purpose more clear. So a new thread with a new title...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview:
Do you want an alert when EU RSI is overbought, GJ is closed bear candle, UC CCI is over 200, EG ADX is less than 40, and UJ crossed below an MA, but all at the same time? What about a simple bear candle alert? A candle pattern alert? Do you want an alert for a custom indicator but you only have the ex4?
Then you're at the right thread! Using one indicator file you can create an almost limitless configuration of alerts without writing code, without compiling software, without using any DLLs, or without any external software at all!
The goal of this indicator is to help alleviate some of the more ubiquitous indicator requests and the time spent in the process of making a request until receiving a program, if at all.
AlertMe! is an alert indicator where the user builds the alert signal in real-time by applying a new instance of the indicator to create a signal condition. The created signals are combined into user created groups, such as "Bear Signal", "bull Signal", or "trend change group", etc. The combined signals can be from any chart in the terminal that has the indicator applied. Implemented in this current version of the program are 163 MQL4 functions, including iCustom, 168 enumerations, and more. Instances of the indicator can be added or removed at any time and the alert group will adapt accordingly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Default Settings:
Group Name: The name for a group of signals. Entering a group name that does not exist will create a new group
Signal Reset: When to clear the signal for this indicator instance:on a new tick, or, on a new bar
Alerts: Send the alert only when there is a group signal, or also when this indicator instance has a signal, or none
Alert Type: Choose a combination of alerts, notifications, or emails
Message: The message sent in the alert. The group message used will be from the last indicator in the group to generate a signal
----------------------: separator and additional settings input
Signal Source: parameter input
----------------------: separator
GLE: Greater than, less than, equal to, etc. This compares the above signal source to the below base source to trigger a signal
----------------------: separator
Base Source: parameter input
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How To Use:
Example: Alert when price crosses an SMA downwards
1) To do this, two instances of the indicator must be loaded onto the chart. We will use the most recently closed bars: 1, 2. The first instance settings:
2)The second instance settings:
3) You will now have two instances of the indicator on your one chart:
4) That is all you have to do!
