Investors look for better yields -> risky assets soar.
So the new created money don't work for the economy because they got stuck in the stock bubble.
Fed must keep the rates otherwise they will add more cheap money for buy backs feeding the crazy greedy investors. US pretty good economy should allow to keep the rates a little longer.

Poor people, the virus - as we can see now - is the only hope to deflate somehow the malicious stock bubble which absorbs cheap money from low rates from other parts of the world... holding the new printed money from the main purpose, which is to stimulate output and trade by increasing spending-demand...

CB mandates are not there to preempt an event before it occurs.
If they did and front run what should be coming from representative Governments as response then there would be no need for government or the political process whereby government is held accountable for its actions.

They are stepping back from this and focusing on their mandate over money as it impacts Bank institutions.

add: to those who think nothing is really happening would suggest to consider the impact of a developing supply shock on global commerce from disruption of Trade.
