To date, Bitcoin has undergone two halvings (2012 and 2016), and we are quickly approaching the third. For background, Bitcoin pioneered a deflationary economic model by setting an upper limit of 21 million bitcoins. In order to spur adoption, issuance was initially set at 50 BTC per block (every 10 minutes), and set to decay in half every four years as the network presumably grows more valuable. This event is now colloquially dubbed the halving. Today, 18M Bitcoin have already been mined (86% of the final supply), with 12.5 new BTC (~$125K) issued every block. Pretty much true. Halving is just a psychological moment. Halving doesnt add REAL value.
BTW, have you checked bitcoin chart at the last halving ? Non-event.

The only "event" was the crypto companies maipulation a few months later

Crypto fanatics overestimate the power of the greedy stupid wannabes at halvings

..and generally overestimate everything about this worthless computer code.

Actually, halving is bad for bitcoin. It means more of oligarchic control.
Which means less trust.
Less trust in genuine decentralization.
Less trust in privacy...
More risk of 51% attacks...

As the mining reward tends to zero, competition will work its natural selection, so only the big sharks will be left standing in the game controlling everything.

Blockchain interface to final user means miners and exchanges. They are the new "middle man".
"The new middle man" is now proved vulnerable and shady, untrustworthy.
Obviously, crypto oligarchy is not much trustworthy than the Fed or the Bank of Englad.
Can you tell who those crypto guys are ? Miners and exchanges ! They are not angels for sure

I'm not bothering him anymore, I have talked about how the banks will use this new transaction approach to their favour in the future.

I am playing him, but not with simple mindedness or too many jokes, or games of the mind.

I play him with the truth.

It is like Morpheus offering Neo nothing but the truth.

Neo had a choice.

Keep living in dream land where he is happy, works and lives and survives in a simulation or fake world, or find out the truth that mankind is simply asleep and a source of energy for the elites.

Not-KPMG is preferring to ignore the truth about the limited potential for Bitcoin. To ignore the truth about the ability of those in power and control to manipulate almost anything for their own gain.

An example of this, is his idea that big traders do not affect the price of bitcoin. This is funny, when we look at how Bitcoin moves so much in a short period of time. Very volatile.

This weakness of bitcoin is what will be exploited in the big game of manipulation. Make bitcoin too unstable to use as a way of salary or income for regular work.

But banks will bring in a crypto that is sovereign and much less volatile.

People who have fallen in love with bitcoin may not want to believe this, because they prefer to stay asleep.
