    A new payments system is coming to Brazil later this year promising almost instant transfers. Called PIX, the project from the country's central bank will provide 24/7 payments in up to 10 seconds via mobile apps, internet banking and ATMs, according to reports from Reuters and local crypto news site Livecoins on Wednesday. Slated for launch on Nov. 10, 2020, PIX is aimed to speed up and reduce the costs of fiat transfers between individuals and businesses. This is just a start for a response by banks, more will follow with even better developments and security.
Physical cash will disappear, no longer exist, and will be 100% replaced with digital currency with extensive technology.
But decentralised, gang leader bitcoin, will not be a part of the sovereign, centralised, digital currency revolution.

Agree ...on the most of it

It's hard to believe but - paradoxically - the physical cash won't disappear that easy in developed countries.
Because the people there use to have a particular culture on privacy.
That thing doesn't happen in China for instance.

Crypto could have meant the digital way of privacy for developed culture of West... but crypto came along with too many technical faults, so it's out. Virtually dead

In my view, Asians should be the champs of digitalization. Just because they love mass control ...total control
In their culture they can't make it other way
Ok, maybe the Scandinavian communists too on the behalf of developed world ...but not many more.
