Been playing w demo on Evolve Markets, wondering if anyone has experinexp w them.

Accounts are denominated in Bitcoin or litecoin, which is out of the ordinary for me. But they offer more than crypto trading, they also offer forex and CFD and metals. They offer both MT4 and MT5 platforms.

Ive checked out review sites and they seem to get some positive reviews tho some of those reviews appear manufactured (fake) while others appear genuine.

Deposits and withdrawals are done like any crypto transfer. You have a "website" account login from which you manage all your MT trading accounts. Each trading account has it's own BTC wallet, so deposits are like transferring to any wallet. Withdrawals work similarly but apparently a human reviews the withdrawal before it's executed by thier internal system. And I'm not sure how the trading acct can be a wallet...that is, I don't understand how their internal structure works to allow BTC denominated accounts. Doesn't make sense how the internal accounting would work.

Having the acct denominated in BTC or ltc plays hell w my money management bc the numbers are not intuitive to me but I'm adjusting and could adjust if it was worth it.

Other thing is that it's highly anonymous. You don't have to give any personal info . Clearly if they take your money, you have no recourse. I understand that and can deal w that as I don't plan on dumping much money in a live acct.. just wondering if anyone at all has live experience w Evolve.

Thx .

Tether would make sense here, but not Bitcoin. Bitcoin is too volatile.

I traded with evolve.markets for a couple of months last year. On the surface, they looked legit and I hadn’t had any issues with until their “LP”(their claims, spread manipulation my view) blew up my account and there was a sharp drop in BTC/USD that stopped out all my trades. I matched the drop with my other brokers and none of them had this massive drop. So I don’t trust them anymore. I did my research after the incident and noticed few reviews on forums, where traders experienced the same issue around that time in November last year. I would have recommended this broker cos there was honestly nothing wrong with them till this manipulated drop happened. I never really had an issue with them to be true. From account opening to withdrawals, everything was a breeze. But you know these things go really bad fast. And instead of providing a resolution, they deleted my trades.

Since then moved on to coinexx, which surprisingly turned out to be a better evolve. For the record am with them since Dec last year. And I thought evolve offered best spreads lol. The spreads they offer a phenomenal and negative at times. You can verify this from the live feed on their website. These guys are too good to be true. They have 24/5 chat, email support and you can request a call back unlike evolve which operates purely on the ticketing system. Just to be clear, it's not that I hadn’t had an issue with coinexx but they own up their faults. The issue was due to their system upgrade leading to client area freezes. When I got in touch with them, they very graciously accepted that the fault is at their end and fixed it in time. I’ve grown to trust them after incidents. Since then I moved most of my trading with them. I started small with them but now mostly trade on their platform. And they offer cryptos on MT5 and evolve recently started that as well. No other broker that I’m aware of is offering cryptos offer this platform.

What I like the most about them is easy of depositing in top 20 cryptocurrencies vs only BTC with evolve and you can freely withdraw to any of the cryptocurrencies listed in their portal. My funds are more liquid with them not restricted to BTC, which is scary these days.

You can test coinexx if you want an alternative for evolve. Hope it helps!

Been trading with Evolve for a while. The only incident i had with them was on MT4 last November and they made an announcement that there was an error and reversed all trades and recovered account balances. Their support is very helpful and very reasonable from what you would expect from an unregulated broker.

They upgraded to mt5 and their liquidity is really good. Their BTC spread went from 20+ to $1. They have a full order book in mt5 with time and sales with 50:1 leverage (check screenshot). This is IMO the most transparent MT crypto liquidity with leverage available at this point. Most other MT brokers are not true crypto liquidity like this. If you use a broker with MT5 and there no books or dom on crypto to see your trades, don't trust them.

It looks like they have changed a lot since the last poster used them. Evolve now has full BTC and LTC deposit base accounts and also the option to make BIT accounts. Recently they added ETC , EOS, DASH and XMR for 50x vs USD trading.

Hello. I don't like to trade with brokers without any regulation but i recognize that with Evolve i did an exception. The reason, i wanted to experience to open an account based in btc. For me it wasn't a good experience because the crypto volatility does very difficult to calculate the free margin. I'd accept to fund my account again if Evolve adds a stablecoin. I'd prefer DAI. I've read bad reviews about Tether.

Try xbtfx.io they have all the stable coins for deposit, 5 altogether. I currently use coinbase USD Coin in MT5 for the same concerns you have with tether. Evolve is good if using BTC only but i don't like that they have only commission accounts. I prefer accounts with no commissions and normal spreads

Thank you, CobraBTC. The broker website seems Evolve website. I believe Xbt is a new broker. I'd wait some months to read reviews about the company. I hope they add DAI because that's the only stable available in my country.

Evolve Markets are a completely off-shore broker which means that your money is not protected. If you wish you may use FBS that offers up to 1:3000 leverage on its standard accounts or IG which is the safest option.
Risk Management is of utmost importance!

IG is well regulated, while FBS is regulated by CySEC. That being said, I don't know any KYC safe brokers. On the other hand, I've just noticed that this thread was moved to the crypto forum, am I right?

this was a major issue with them for me too, evolve uses percent commissions which makes it even worse. ive been using xbtfx for no commission accounts and it seems the swaps are a bit better too now that you made me look. if you only use BTC, it's only email signup required
