Excellent graph dweb! Really paints a nice picture of an instrument that is seeing some fluctuation, but not making any really big moves in a while. We're still sitting in the $15,500 range 3 months later.

Short-term trend: Neutral

Bitcoin eked out 2.24 percent gains on Tuesday with buying volumes picking up to hit the highest level since Aug. 15, according to Bitstamp data.

The high-volume bullish move to 13-day highs above $10,780 added credence to Monday's descending triangle breakout and opened the doors to $10,956 (Aug. 20 high).

The hourly chart support of $12,286 is the level to defend for the bulls. A break lower would shift the focus to the bearish weekly chart indicators and allow a deeper drop to $9,750.

Danggg I'm so glad I stayed logged out of my crypto accounts this past week! I don't usually advocate hanging onto losers but in this instance it worked out for me. I was so frustrated for that move I rage-logged-out of everything, lol!

I'm back on the long-train! Really interesting last few pages about the Craig Wright back-n-forth.... I can't imagine though in this day and age that something would be so fabricated.. so I don't know what to believe. Either way I'm looking forward to making some more money from it!

Wanted to track it via LIVE TE that I have published but... transferred between account and the familiar story.. stat gets destroyed since the return here... at TradeExplorer (TE) is calculated like dividing profit by all deposits... So if one transfers full balance from one (internal) account to another... and then give it back... the (calculated) return gets HALFED since it divided also by this transfer... Hate to say it, but it looks like we are still seeing a lot of downward pressure. I don't see it breaking above 11k this week.

Short-term trend: Neutral

Bitcoin created a "spinning top candle" on Wednesday, pouring cold water over the optimism generated by Monday's triangle breakout.

The spinning top indicates an indecisive market and has made today's UTC close pivotal. A close above the candle’s high of $10,834 would imply a continuation of the rally from the recent low of $9,320.

A more reliable indicator of bullish revival would be a UTC close above the lower high of $10,956 created on Aug. 20. A bullish close above $10,956, if confirmed, would open the doors to $12,000.

Meanwhile, a close below the spinning top’s low of $10,378 would indicate that the rally from the recent low of $9,320 has ended and the bears have regained control. That could yield a sell-off back to $9,755 (Aug. 22 low).

Observers may feel tempted to rule out the bearish close, as the daily chart indicators like the moving average convergence divergence histogram are reporting bullish conditions.

That, however, may prove costly, as the spinning top candle has appeared following a $1,500 rally, and the indecision predominantly represents bullish exhaustion. If the bulls were strong, the spinning top would not have appeared. Hence, a correction could be around the corner.

Yeah man... 10.57 will hit for SURE (almost) soon... so 0.57% that would barely cover some spread costs.. but if you trade directly.. .57% is not that bad of a return for a copuple hours of "work", right? So hit it Price now 10.51 (reference as always for me https://bitcoinity.org/markets)

I'm just curious if you are trading news in the shorter term or not. If it just reinforces an investment stance and you think BTC will break 20k at some point that is one thing. If you are trading and timing moves I'd be interested to see the results. I don't know if the price always moves the way it should.
