Hm... 7/7 wins so far... I might just drop the disastrous eurusd (total stall/shit this week, awaiting famous Powell on Friday.. I mean.. is this how markets should suppose to work... complete stall until some "insert" opens the mouth!.. And there were quite a few weeks like this in the past months!). Will see... 3 trades more and I might draw some better conclusions about this... I might switch to crypto only, why not... Specially if I find some good reliable broker... that I am looking for in another thread (WANTED...).

Well yeah, why not... I realised that I might be in the minority here (in the forums) but when it comes to trading, money/profits is by far the most important thing to me . So I will shift market if I see better money/profit (potential) elsewhere (eurusd->BTC in this example)... When I started trading, 10+ years ago, eurusd was "the shit"... Price moved good.. 20PIP (about 0,15%) moves were a joke, they were possible a few times a day, easily... 200PIP trades (about 1,5%) could happen in a few days.. without much effort or surprise.. And that was "standard". But look at it now.. Just look at this week.. We are in complete stall... almost 100% focus is on the FED/Powell... that will happen on Friday... and the price might react randomly... again.. And there were so many weeks like this this year... or in the past few months... combined with random spikes, caused by some tweets (guess from who), some central bank talking/thinking/saying... something... that speculators might interpret differently.. and we get this TENIS between ECB/FED, for example.. coupled with tweets... that completely distort the market, if it does (still) work at all... It really distorted my trading... Meanwhile I am paying good interest when in BUY trade.. while they are joking/stalling... I mean you get the picture.. I have been insisting at eurusd since I "specialised" at it and I know most of the chart, ballpark moves, let's say.. ballpark effects by news, tweets, relations.. but since my price prediction model is pretty much universal.. I can apply it anywhere.. I did BTC before.. but atm it runs much smoother than it did before... and also might not be STALLED by the things I mention... So should continue to go like this... and if I find a good broker... then why the hell not? Crypto services are evolving at lightning speed, was just checking all the options.. meanwhile I receive almost REGULAR emails from my fx broker about every possible new regulation they can think of... leverage limiting, margin call, margin-close after 3days, now FIFO... I mean.. the hell... I already opened alternative account at some other broker... I can not trade freely at my primary broker anymore, because of those regulations... EU really messed with this.. Just a few years EU had massive advantage vs US.. trading wise... it was much more free... not it is worse then US... and getting worse...

So yeah, stay tuned.. after I complete those randomised 10 tests... 7/7 done already.. I might decide if I should proceed... The next step would be to check it closely.. how precise (turning radius or SL level) can I enter the market... for the reason of evaluating the possible leverage... But the BTC seems so rather quick atm.. that I might even exploit about trading without leverage... but If I could make the good entries, at good moves.. AND applying decent leverage.. I mean, think about it... if you checked my lasts 7 trades that I live posted here... would have some considerable cash maybe... the question is what leverage would go through... But I think I would be pulling at least 50% return with just 10:1... Just check the 7th trade today (yeah the counter trade would hit even sooner but hey - I love both sides can be winners and I do not look trades like that... massive potential, but at least some further testing needed..

But I like what I see so far...

Short-term trend: Cautiously Bearish

Bitcoin remains in the hunt for a drop to the Aug. 15 low of $9,467, as suggested by yesterday's rising wedge breakdown on the 4-hour chart.

The drop to $9,467, however, could be preceded by a price bounce to $10,300, as the hourly chart relative strength index is reporting a bullish divergence.

More importantly, sellers are again struggling to force a convincing break below the 100-day moving average (MA), currently at $9,900.

BTC ran into bids below the 100-day MA on Aug. 15 and closed (UTC) that day with gains above $10,300. The average was again defended on the following day and the subsequent price bounce ended up hitting highs above $10,950 on Aug. 20.

Seriously, trading has been a snooze. Maybe I am biased because I lost my last two trades. Tight stops don't like these boring ranging markets .

Have to find good, reliable broker.. as I explained in my thread "WANTED:"... maybe fast now... At the same time, could you recommend some good credit card connection, have been looking at bitpay... seems nice... Oh forget the bitpay.. just found/tested out it is not available in my country, wtf.... any other recommendation?

I'm not sure hooking up a card to Bitcoin is all that great at the moment, the fees/conversion rates are typically terrible.

Agreed g-force. I have lost out on the last 2 and it makes trading a bore - Actually pisses me off. Going to make back that money tonight!

Check out PrimeXBT. I've been trading with them. I haven't used the credit card function but they have it. The trading platform is pretty intuitive. And, I've deposited and withdrawn funds with ease. A few negatives:

1. Not sure where they pull their BTC rates - but they are always a little off from what I see on Crypto Craft. But, they are off in buy and sell - so all works out.
2. Withdrawals only happen once per day. So, when you place an order for withdrawal, you'll see a pending status. They process all withdrawals within a 2 hour window each day.

Longer duration charts were flashing bearish signals. Notably, the weekly chart showed a bearish crossover between the 5- and 10-candle moving averages (MAs), the first since February.

BTC fell 10.49 percent last week, reinforcing the bearish view put forward by the repeated failure to end the week above $12,000.

BTC has recovered from $9,755 to $10,200 in the last 30 hours. The price rise, however, has taken the shape of a rising wedge pattern on the hourly chart. Further, buying volumes remained low during the price recovery.

I'm there with you. Looking for some action though... things have been quiet lately.

Right now I think there are two paths to take trading BTC.

1) Short BTC, tight TP, make sure to exit the market daily
2) Long BTC, wide TP and SL, go on a vacation and close your trade when you return home next month
