Buy limit placed at 10,030 - hoping for a fill:

This morning's look at my BitCoin Short:

While selling still remains dominant, some buying has come in near the higher end of the range bottom...I suspect short term shorts taking profit. I too am tempted to take profit ahead of this bottom, but I am holding for a little while longer to see (1) if price tests this range bottom and (2) if it will hold. My take profit level is in sight but may not hit...we'll see. Its early in the US session, so there's more to come.

For Short Term Trading the Bitcoin, the Super Trend indicator can be used.

BTC's repeated failure to close above $12,000 and confirmed a bullish-to-bearish trend change.

The 5- and 10-day moving averages (MAs) produced a bearish crossover on Tuesday, further confirming an of the rally from the July 28 low of $9,111 and bearish reversal. The 14-day relative strength index also fell into the bearish territory on Tuesday.

Bitcoin fell to the downside target of $10,800 in the U.S. trading hours and extended losses to sub-$10,000 levels on Aug. 15 setting a new higher low of $9,467.

Signs of seller exhaustion and impending bullish reversal are present.

The risk of a drop to $9,049 (July 17 low) remains as long as prices are held below 10K.

Looks like there is profit taking at the end of the week on the swing short positions. I'm still expecting another leg down to test the bottoms but also think there will be a move higher at the beginning of the week to come to test a zone midway though this current range. There is a confluence of technical support (now resistance) in this area...

The buyer are definitely trying to take dominance but so far they are merely balancing the selling that has occurred during this week. I have moved my stop to lock a very small profit (call it BE) and will hold to see what happens next.

man, at this rate, I might trade just this 4/4 that I made, posted live here, in advance.. it hit... yeah some would hit even/before in the opposite direction, but even better, so both sides could win Either way, when I hit 10/10 wins... 4/4 already... I might start thinking more seriously about it... Find some good broker, optimise leverage (if I will be needing it at this moves).. etc... Trading at exchange directly is good, for BUY... can not publish TE though, I think...
