Ofcourse it had to close 1430.66 was wondering whether it would be above the round mark or not.
This still has some upside potential will refrain from adding shorts for now and start winding down on setups gradually ahead of FOMC later on. Safe trading

FOMC Meeting - July Preview - I posted a preview that includes some images showing the charts from the most recent meetings showing how it impacted gold and some currencies. I think we are in for some pretty big moves tomorrow. Hawkish Fed = decline in gold prices, dovish Fed = gold rally. Only if it were that simple. Good luck out there guys!

Best of luck with the FOMC tomorrow everyone. I'd definitely err on the side of caution with this one and reduce exposure in advance.

Morning traders
So 1432.1 short active and doing okay.
Tempted to let them run but now.....also thinking I should begin the scaling down process on some positions

ET.....we missed some Fundi announcements yesterday....what happened? Jokes.

1430 long was killed and new long at 1428 was filled as I told yesterday there was one more level to buy at 1429 =)
now to test 1433 again - and here we have 2 way scenario - touching it and decline lower a little or breaking it!

Morning gang gang,
2 cups of coffee and good to go.

Gold has remained at these elevated levels leading up to today....won't be buying at these range ceiling levels but remain aware that it could still push higher.
Monday's buy hedge still intact so that gives me more room, to continue looking for shorts. For now, last weeks high hasn't been broken hence the continued insistence of looking for shorts.........but calculations have moved a key level from (1419ish:Monday )(1420/1:Tuesday) up to 1425,8 as such till we break below and close below this level Bulls will remain in control me thinks.....

Levels I will be looking at today;

Upside:
1432,8
1437
1442

Downside:
1422.4
1417
1415,7

As such Pending orders are as follows.
Buy order

Buy limit 1422.4
SL 1416

Sell order
Sell limit 1433.5
SL 1447

added one more long at 1430,46 SL 10 pips!
market now has double top before 1433,70 which means breaking UP with 80% chance!
