Sorry for the late response Aari, I was lookin at The RSI at the time of that post. And price has managed to drop down a bit. Am done for the week. Closing my shorts. Will wait to see what happens when the market opens on Sunday.

Well damn... I took myself out early and missed out on hitting my target. Missed out on 2000 more ticks. Oh well. 20 years of trading and I can still psych myself out. The truth is there is no way for me to know. I can take solace that, I was right about my target.

We shall see what happens next.

It didn't seem like the market was pricing in any real possibility of this. I'll have my popcorn ready for the open, we could see some fireworks.

Lol the moment the White House made a pronouncement after the jobs report regarding tarrifs on Mexico being upheald but also citing the fact that they have flexibility to adjust over the weekend.....I knew something was a miss. But I bagged my sheckles and choose not to hold over the weekend.
The jobs data may limit the downside trajectory though hey.

When Trump came out with tariff delay talk I shorted it. I thought gold would sell off more than it did. The market wasn't believing it I guess. I think they do now. After a few hours I closed my trade with a small gain. That was it for the week.

Thanks for sharing, that paints an pretty ominous picture for the economy.

About half of the economic indicators I look at are pointing to recession. The biggest exception is labor, which still indicates further expansion. With a 3.6% unemployment rate though, its just a matter of time before it turns. I would guess the US has 6-24 months left.

I am looking at the weekly chart,
-the PA is hovering at the top firm trend line, forming a right angle pattern (technically breaks above)
-stochastics is not yet complete, moving to overbought situation.
-There is good possibility that the rally will continue in coming weeks > which supports all economical & political happenings.
-If breaks the trend line > it will reach upto 1460.

Good buying zone will be 1320 in couple of weeks.
