Hi, Janpec, by "volatility is low", you mean the tick movement is slow or the candles in the blue tunnel feels 'slow'?

It means overall volatility at that particular day (or particular hour more exactly), it means that overall depth of structure is too weak to trade it. For example even if that move went to target (which it did) i would only gain 2 pips of profits, and in FX that is very close to bare minimum or in some cases already too low to trade if you use commisisons based broker. 0.5-0.7 pip will go to commission. 4 pips is fine, 3 is also ok on EU and GU but 2 pips or less is not long term productive due to costs.

So no matter how many R you gain if those R are only 2 pips of profits then since commissions are fixed on broker size it will eat too much profits away.
But should be said that completly depends on broker it has nothing to do with strategy or market in general. If you find futures based broker with 0 cost on trade you can just as much trade those as well, its all broker sided thing.

IR likely getting ready for takeoff. Behaviour symmetry on pullback leg rotations, however strenght on bull legs is missing, thus it should be taken with bit of weaker size.

CWH downtrend behaviour change with strong bull print and a shelf stack. Bulls absorbing. Straightforward play, lows for best fill and middle for semi decent fill on long.

CWH for flagship play of the day. As pointed out this is as clear and clean setup as it gets, with very strong behaviour change and bullish participation and expressed shelf stacking. After HLs got consistent print the bulls kept adding on each low and pushing higher. This exactly the same stuctural play has been presented 2 weeks ago ( might be 3) for anyone to check it on previous pages (equity setup, cant remember the name of asset), where the HLs start to progress upwards with strong defense until the price explodes higher as the imbalance between sellers and buyers is done.
24,78 was used as last SL area as in this setup there is no need to have any larger SL, 2 ticks is all it should be used, if low defense gives it could be all done.
3,5R gain in total.

In pullback leg one thing to mind, its symmetry of volatility scaling that matters the most. Your initial high/low distances should be the deepest, and the further the structure develops toward right the more it should tighten with lesser distance between high/lows which signals for bull accumulation and decrease of short selling.
