Gold up 1%, silver up 1.9%. Has done as expected and doubled the performance so far. Let’s see if what happens at FOMC. I’m expecting both pairs to setttle back down now until the news.

While I did not enter on the news tonight due to my buy in price target being 16.358 and we only hit 16.39, those who have entered on the rate rise = gold rise formula would have had a great time!

Gold up 1.6%
Silver up 3% at its peak

The coiled spring was the winner tonight - hi-ho silver.

Looking for opportunity to go long on a pullback, for now I'm on the sideline. Didn't make any money, but didn't lose any either so that is somewhat a win I guess.

GOLD on 4h - As US$ weakness was exposed during important FED rate announcement and FED Powell's speech (expected happened but neutral-hawkish statements than before) after opponent currencies got stronger, so as commodities market. Gold rallied alligned with EU pair. We're approaching crucial resistance zones after that lower trendline got broken denying C corrective wave from 5th elliot impulse finish. First resistance is at top line of OB zone which was formed after B corrective wave occured, also is 0.618 fibonacci retracement therefore key resistance to watch for now. 3rd micro-wave from final impulse wave could be next pivot since price reacted to it as well in the past. Momentum is on bulls side and daily RSI finally climbing over 50, while hourly is surprasing 80, 4h slightly above 70 indicating overbought levels. SMA's still not close to bull crossover but price passed them on it's way back up. Keep an eye on crucial pivot last areas, historical pivots and market sentiment. At mentioned levels little correction would be appreciated (beware fals breakouts) since momentum has to slow down as EU session is done, US still some time to go. DXY is down to 89.25, indices futures recover a bit, 10 and 30y still unchanged while 2y is still red. Aussie appreciated move as well. Note that today's statements were expected to be more hawkish turning US dollar higher on demand, but neutral-hawkish were lack of expected therefore market's reaction lacked as well. Watch the levels, commodity currencies, volume and momentum. Any break above might see re-test before continuation, so stay tuned! Safe trading everyone

Normally it may or it sjould go towards 1348-1360 after breaking 1327 barrier.. day candle is engulfing also.

Had call this early yesterday before FOMC. Moving my stops to BE on this one now. Watching 1327.xx going into the FIX to see if it holds or break during the FIX

If it holds then we go higher for 1347.xx if it don't we go to 1288.xx.
