All will depend on stock earnings; if earnings are good, Gold weak and vice-versa. My point, the movers are the earnings. In addition, the expectation for US inflation is up which also will boost gold up movement.

Earnings yes. Inflation no. Not for the last 10 years ... at least.

The US Average Hourly Earnings of October 6 were up to 0.5% from 0.2%. This means that inflation is up.

Sorry but it's meaningless nowadays with traders. It just is. The media hasn't "gotten the memo" yet.

Back in the 70's and 80's inflation went up a percent or two each month. Not fractional percents and not each year.

Almost nothing has changed. Gold's sell high remains 1288. Buy high is 1290 maybe. Buy low is around 1278 and sell low is 1276. Range center is locked at 1280.

I can only advice you to try not to predict the next price movement. React on the latest price direction instead...

Trade explorer updated.
Currently Short on silver with initial target 18.9 again.
Gold also bearish but I'm not trading it. initial target of 1272 however this dip may push lower based on 4hr charts.

If we don't start heading down with momentum in the next 8hrs might step aside again. Wait and see as I don't wish to hold overnight unless downside gains momentum

trade at your own risk guys.

Holding this short overnight. Selling pressure looks good. Trade generating nice profit for day.

Nice one goldgirl you must be floating in green pips right now, Hart off for you . I short some where at 1276 sl at 1283 and tp at 1262 although I have my trailing stop in place incase my tp is unrealistic.
