hello fellow traders.
in my time trying to find the best EA possible, i've encountered countless EAs that were working perfectly fine, until a new MT4 version is released that disables completely the EA/indi. And of course i didn't have the source code
the usual message is : "Global Initialization failed", sometimes there is no message.
I suspect Metaquotes of doing it on purpose so we come to their "Market" where all the EAs are up to date with latest MT4 of course.
I'm also a programmer so i was able to pinpoint WHY some EAs are disabled.
well in the history of MT4 programming, some things have changed regularly.
For instance, in the past, it was usual to use "Start()" instead of 'OnTick()' now. Why this change ? i don't know ! Why would there be? except for making old programming rules obsolete ?
lots of other changes have occurred during the history of MT4, all without good explanation on WHY they are.
Do you guys have the same opinions about Metaquotes planned obsolescence?
thanks
Jeff
