FF is littered with threads anyone here make money, anyone full time, etc, etc. So many traders aspire to this level but the reality is the success rate is small. For one reason or another, bad strategy, poor risk management or underfunded. One of the most prevalent reasons is flipping strategy. You don't have to travel far to see that evidence.
Take a trip to any autocopy sites and systems that had decent track records get slated after 2 bad days...Trader is rubbish etc, modern retail trader is fickle beyond belief. Market does not pay you every day like an ATM. Have to have patience to stay through rough times and smooth. By flipping strategy you are actually fueling liquidity and providing winning traders with equity in a zero sum game.
Next topic, strategy diversification is key. Always will be the case one strategy outperform in certain conditions, so blend 2-3 together will smooth the equity curve and leave you less susceptible to certain market condition. For example, trend followers loved yesterday (EURUSD), range traders not so.
The aim of the blog to produce consistent profit of $5k-$10k per month on my account starting from June and hope to demonstrate how its possible to trade for living. My explorer is attached.
BTW, i only keep in my account what i need to maintain margin, I withdraw profits. If I need to add funds, then I add. I don't like anymore money sitting at broker that is required to open my trades. Seen too many brokers going down to fall for that ole trap.
So don't start shouting about how much leverage I use. I know I am fully margined and I like it that way, its the way I operate.
I will discuss certain systems and strategies I am looking and testing, etc.
Currently I use a mix of Asia and Euro scalping. I dont use martingale.
I would appreciate no trolling, but alas it would'nt be a forum unless one rears it ugly head.
