Had some fun 1.30 am Perth time, gold started falling again so I was taking dosh of the table hand over fist,
close a trade, open a trade, close another, open another, such good fun
One loss and that a deliberate one to see if I could get the equity up some.
12 trades in all today, not to bad at all.
Am hedged still 5/5, will see what next week brings.

Hi Aussi, I took a look at your XAU/USD sell today. I looked when you entered at 04.00. The Macd was crossed down on Daily,4hour,and 1hour.
It had already crossed up on the 30 min. I know the daily candle was down as well. I also am aware that you are in and out as quick as possible.
I see you sold it at the bottom of the previous 1 hour candle. A lot of good things in favor of this trade. Is there more that I missed.
OH! one more you use large account and small positions as well. Allows to stay in a trade that may go for a while. Thanks for all you do sir.

a few little thing i do
yes mate large account did take a long long time gives you some freedoms small accounts can not do ,it has to be the aim for all traders easy said but it not easy to do , i do not have much draw down as the purists would say , my sell gold trades and zar trades and mxn trades are all positive swap trades so even though its shown in draw down for 11 trades the swaps are growing every week i do not get rid of a trade if positive swap unless it is at the historical high or low , during the week my loss on gbp was a negative swap notice i culled it and it did not show it wanted to go back up , so on the books i have no negative swap trades which makes my broker sweat ,

I had a scary time with Gold a few years back it spiked down while I was sleeping (I manually trade without SL's unless the trades go into profit) but luckily within a few days it came back up and I got out with a few $, but the $100K DD was not nice, but like you say it is all relative to the size of your account. People view your trades and see the size of lots and think you could be taking large risks, but really are they much different to the trades they place within their own accounts.
Some people say I'm lucky, but the more I practice the luckier I get

Yes Aussi,My positive swap helps me as well.
I will spend more time lining up things on the entry as you have done to increase my odds.

i agree with you mate going to have to warn small traders of that fact , and yes when i was doing 1cent trades it seemed i was risking the world and i was mate , when i look at those trades to now tradings the same but the lot size and amount grew , did you know i used to buy 250 shares of bhp back in my early days was around 14.00 per share and did not think about it $3,500.00 was a lot of money in 1998 and 18mths later sold for $18.35 $4587.50 i made $1087.50 less commission this from a old receipt i had kept , yikes mate even had to pay tax on it , so when i found fx trading in the 80,s it was bloody hard to understand but i learnt the hard way like most of us do , then the computer age came and electronic transactions instead of a phone no mobile phones then , and now making that kind of money per day , did not seem possible in those days

Update to Post 670.
No Rocket Science required...Ok Charts are After the Fact but I have been Trading this Renko Scenario in different forms for approximately 17 years and yes there are losses !!!!!!!!.
For Educational purpose only as this is not as Good as Aussi's trading style but every one to there own style of trading...I am happy with the Bread Crumbs.
