Hello fellow traders,
I am looking for a good forex trading simulator. So I can practice in weekends and hopefully become better at trading. I found that using the demo platforms to papertrade, often doesn't work well for me. Lacking the playback/speedup feature like a simulator would have.
I know some people use metatrader for this and just scroll back. The disadvantages are: I wouldn't be sending orders as I normally would, also with eg. moving averages it doesn't give a good representation when making a trading judgement. Yes I can backtest a EA but that's not what I am looking for here.
Sofar I have found 2 fx simulators. one is called fxsim and the other forextester.
Does anyone uses these? are they good, if you did use them could you share your experiences? Do you know of any other forex simulator? perhaps for free?
What also would do the trick is a playback data tool for metatrader like a datafeed inserter. But sofar I havn't been lucky to find one.
