If trading were as easy as buying on good news.. selling on bad news we would all be rich.
More important is to look whats really going on..
If news is giving you too much of a bias in the wrong direction... then ignore it.
Know that news events create risk and spikes... but don't let that set your bias for the day.
Its more important to look at the big picture at where the real money is flowing..
Don't limit yourself to FX charts. Take a look at dow, dax, oil, gold, copper dollar index, china markets.
If you can notice a theme, or a correlation.. And your risk is small...
Go with your gut instinct for your next trade, based on what your seeing on the charts.
Always look for an opportunity that hasn't played out.. rather then chasing a move thats already happened..
example .. London open g/u and a/u pop up... Dollar index starts to fall, gold/usd start to climb.
E/u still hasn't moved much yet... Maybe Usd is weak and euro will soon follow... when you get your entry signal try for a e/u long...
Try to join in the USD selling party, but do it at a smart area where your risk is still small rather then chasing a move..
Chasing any spike move is the fastest way to lose money.

The only system that will work is one designed by and for yourself.
