This year wasn't really good for calendar spread trading. Last winter, nat gas price exploded then quickly collapsed in the winter. It made this year's winter spread widened. I bet its winter spread narrowing and made some small profit. Actually, betting to winter spread narrowing is not recommended. I closed Nov23-Dec23 spread and currently holding Nov24-Dec24(betting to spread narrowing) and Jun24-July24(betting to spread widening). Unless you touch Widow Maker spread (Mar-April), nat gas spread trading is relatively safe.

For an experiment, I am watching each minute chart from 1M to 20M (i.e. 1M, 2M, 3M, .... 20M). Does anyone do this too?
I use a commercial offline charting indicator for MT4. In each chart, I also loaded a lot of indicators. That's why I had to upgrade my PC. My current PC:

November contract has been expired. Strong seasonality is one of the easiest ways to make money in trading business. You don't need to waste your time and money playing day trading circus.

I don't see any winning edge in that technical trading strategy.

You will get winners and losers over a trading period.

Unless some one can show a consistent approach and positive results over longer time, then there is no winning edge.


Its the same with all trading system threads in FF. We do not see any thread where the OP has shown consistent profitable results of 3 years or s36 months... most OPs are very keen to share something new which has not been time-tested and proven to be a winning strategy.

Relative trading cost (commission and exchange fees) should be a bit more expensive compared to /NG but it can be a good option to beginners and smaller traders. Personally, I think micro contract is more attractive than mini (/QG, 1/4 sized) and micro could replace mini in the long run.

This guy has almost a million subscribers in youtube. Steve's strategy is basically based on his teaching. (His terminology 'inefficiency' came from it.) His free youtube videos are good sources of learning. Much better than playing with indicators. The problem is it's too popular now, so Mr. Market would ............... Anyway.

ICT may or may not be a scam but I am pretty sure Steve is REAL. He posts live charts and now they are mostly winners. Looks like he recently has reached a Eureka moment..... I'd say his thread is the most useful one in FF.
